Gravity Delivery Discussion

My fob works great. The cameras are kinda low resolution but show you what you need and appear every time the blinker is on. The side mirrors also have the yellow blind spot monitoring triangle. But I have had zero key fob issues. I’ve had the same Spotify, wireless charge pad and in car microphone issues as others. But “mechanically” my gravity is great. I’ve probably taken it on 6-8 small drives other than the 90 mile drive home from delivery. My iPhone app works great for charging info, location and cabin pre conditioning.
Does the Lucid Gravity phone app navigation show any info like % SOC on arrival or is it just “send destination to car” like on the Air phone app?

How long does it take for a change order to reflect in the portal?

I spoke with my SA a week ago, asked to drop the tech package and add the power package. It's been crickets since.

Life has changed significantly, and I need a SUV now. If I can't get a Gravity in the next few months, I might be forced to grab something else.
Was the same for me. I got an no hud, no power pack ready made one and took me 3-4 weeks from snatching the vin until delivery. My reservation was a Nov 7 2024 GGT, then GDE…. (Baby #2 due in August:) Prod your SA. I mean there are little glitches with these early ones, but it’s worth it. Gravity is legit. I drove Escalade IQ, Vistiq and model X (not a R1S) and an EQS SUV as a plan B. Gravity feels like it was built by Porsche. Maybe nicer. Drives way better than any of the above. Range and comfort/luxury as advertised. It’s worth the minor issues to me, because in the total picture for the early adopter EV space, no biggie. Car is mechanically legit and software is close it seems…And my SA and delivery guy (Lucid as a whole?) are very responsive and interested in feedback and want to fix things. They called me today, (4th of July!) to check in and ask about it and take notes…

App has a nav arrow icon on bottom and then hit that, pulls up a map that over lay the range spider… I don’t have an air, but maybe this answers your question?

This is what I’m talking about, if I’m gonna try and use the app navigation it doesn’t tell me anything about charge on arrival and I can’t route plan like add a stop or anything. It’s ok but kinda useless except to get in the car and already have the destination set.

You a fellow Aggie by any chance?

You guys need to go back to talking about the Air. All this Gravity stuff is boring.

It’s the same. In the car though, you have more options over the Air like controlling your arrival SOC at the charger or destination.

I live in Bryan. But I went to Florida State. But glad to live in Aggieland! Been here since 2020:)
Saw that you picked your Gravity up from Houston Studio. I know they have a showroom Gravity in the studio but do you know if they have a drive demo one yet. I live in Houston myself and was looking forward to visiting and getting a test drive sometime soon. I have GGT on order but it is with HUD and I did not order until May, so probably no delivery until winter (hoping for Christmas.) Oh, and Gig’m!

Houston sadly has neither…. Yet. A random dude was in there looking to see the Gravity. He got to check mine out and apparently placed an order. (No referral program for gravity yet! lol) If you’re up this way, and want to see mine, happy to share, explore, let someone on here drive it. Just see if the mods can share my email with you! Gig em and Go Noles!

Thanks for the offer. I have a sister who lives in CS, so might take you up on offer if demo cars don’t show up locally in next month.

For those in DMV, Lucid has two Gravity now. One in studio and one at service center in mall across street. Neither for driving. Both are for climbing in and on and pushing buttons/screen.

I wish I have a SA like yours. My SA, Bryan, never reply my emails and phone messages. I get a response only when I CC the email to [email protected] after couple of weeks of silence.

Mine is Bernard. He is great. See if you can switch to him. I mean I think all the SA have it pretty tough, but he’s really responsive and proactive. If lucid lets you switch, ask for him.

Mine is also Bernard and I agree he’s been great. I’m in Austin so maybe he’s covering this region

It must be the range wheels, as the black DE/Tahoe I saw being prepped for delivery had the big wheels.
I haven’t heard of any Gravities with range wheels being delivered - maybe on the initial 10 last year?

At least 2 Dream vehicles were delivered on 20/21 wheels.

I was told if I stayed with my GDE order with the range wheels it would be Fall at the earliest. That said, it’s a difference of 35+/- miles range, so I am fine getting the large wheels. Not a big enough range difference for me, but completely understand it’s different for everyone.

Plus we’ll have 450 with our GGT… 😀
