Delivery date: 6/24
Does that just happen to be your delivery date? Or is that the special date in general when the floodgates will open?Delivery date: 6/24
That's helpful. Thank you.No one "sees" an estimated delivery date. They come from the SA and in most cases, still don't mean anything. All you can see is if your vehicle is "In production" on the Lucid web site.

You’re not gonna like this answer, but I leave 6/25 for Kenya and will be offline largely until mid-July. I will do it once I’m back though, I swear.Any chance you can grab a Dragy and measure some data shortly after? Car and Driver/Hagerty are moving much slower than anticipated…

I don’t think better communication with customers and delivering a good car are mutually exclusive.Disagree……this is how typical production and delivery of a new model goes, especially for a small company like Lucid. We know it’s not purposeful, I’m sure you don’t want them to dump a car with issues in your lap and you would rather wait a bit longer.
This surprised me as well. A webview of the logged in dashboard to at least show the order is not a huge lift in the grand scheme of things. Rivian does a decent job of leveraging their app pre delivery or without a car configured. This is a tiny complaint in the grant scheme of things, but I find the fact that you can't do *anything* with the Lucid app before you take delivery to be annoying and a missed opportunity for customer engagement. At the very least it should show you the same dashboard as the website....
So you’re saying I should go ahead and order two more?I was told region matters most only when they’re trying to place an order”orphaned” Gravity and there’s a spot on the transport and/or they want to deliver before end of quarter. Who knows.
Hey nobody said you can't collect and flip them, a bit of a riskier proposition these daysSo you’re saying I should go ahead and order two more?
We joke, but my SA said they actually have “a lot” of people who ordered both a GDE and a GGT and will take whichever comes first. If folks don’t want the HUD, SA said it’s far more likely they’ll get their GGT first. I know color and wheels factor in. As does the truth. Right now, SAs seem to have the same prediction score as weather forecasters…Hey nobody said you can't collect and flip them, a bit of a riskier proposition these days![]()
I did that for several weeks... but ultimately cancelled my GGT. If my SA called me and said I coudl get a GT today I would happily drop my Dream order. We joke, but my SA said they actually have “a lot” of people who ordered both a GDE and a GGT and will take whichever comes first. And before anyone asks, yes, I was told you can just get your deposit credited toward whichever Gravity you get. It’s not really non refundable as long as you do buy one.
What a great use of the defineable button… shells and bananasJust checked on my Gravity software version... it shows I'm now on 3.2.1. According to the release notes it has all this added functionality:
-Android Auto
-V2H Ready
-Halo Secure and 360 degree dashcam ability with optional USB storage device
-DreamDrive 2 Pro with full hands-free driving experience on highway and city roads
-Full-Color Augmented Reality HUD with tailgater and slow person in the left lane mitigation via deployment of optional Red Shells and Banana peels
Ok, I confess, all this is BS but I thought we needed at least a bit of hopium on this forum until we all get our cars delivered! Lol
Maybe trust the source website vs RivianTrackr where this story came from and has since been removedEveryone see that Rivian after June 30 is no longer able to use the 7500 EV lease credit? It looks like their backer, JP Morgan Chase is trying to get ahead of the administration and no longer lets Rivian use that loophole, so out of Rivians control. I wonder what Lucid will be doing.

This is a fear of mine based on how long it is taking Lucid to deliver Gravity. I was planning to avail myself of the credit by leasing. And yes, I know their lease rates are outrageous, but it works for me.View attachment 29963
In other words, they jumped the gun, caused confusion and quickly pulled the story to save face.
I just heard from my SA that their logistics team in AZ is busily scheduling transports, and my delivery is expected next week.Delivery date: 6/24
The leasing isn’t that unreasonable, I originally thought the same. The only car you can really compare it to is the Escalade IQ and the rate is similar. The reason being, it’s just come out like the Gravity. When comparing leasing to an EQS, R1S etc. they’ve been out for well over a year so maturely they’ll have more competitive leasing rates. This is a fear of mine based on how long it is taking Lucid to deliver Gravity.
