Is there a reliable fix for frozen GPS? I searched this thread, but wasn't able to turn up a solution. My GPS thinks the car is in the middle of the Columbia river between WA and OR, which is neither accurate nor close to where the car actually is. It doesn't move/update when I drive or input a destination. I've tried soft and hard reboots, and let it sit overnight, but I'm still on a river cruise.

Try creating a new driver profile and see if it clears it. I just discovered today that creating and switching to a new driver profile fixed some of my Gravlins.
I also had a GPS related bug, but not exactly as yours. Mine was dash screen map position stuck only if pilot screen was switched away from Nav application, then refreshed GPS position when Nav was back in focus on pilot screen.

I did not delete my original profile as it's not causing me trouble and I wanted an opportunity to show the issue to SC when I bring it in next week.
I believe system has room for up to 5 profiles, so I would only delete bad ones when there is no room or when permanent fix is released.

Try creating a new driver profile and see if it clears it. I just discovered today that creating and switching to a new driver profile fixed some of my Gravlins.
I also had a GPS related bug, but not exactly as yours. Mine was dash screen map position stuck only if pilot screen was switched away from Nav application, then refreshed GPS position when Nav was back in focus on pilot screen.

I haven't had time to create a new profile, but switching from my main (and only) profile to the guest profile made the GPS identify my location as Lucid headquarters. Switching back my profile showed the car at Lucid headquarters as well, so I definitely have a GPS issue of some sort. I'll try creating an all-new new profile this evening.

You need to contact a Service Center. Our GPS was frozen the first two months we had a Gravity, with the satellite maps showing the car in Fremont, CA, Case Grande, AZ, and in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa -- but never in Florida where the car actually was.

It was finally diagnosed as a software problem that required a reload that only the Service Center could do.

I have to stand with DrZorro here. My car has been pretty solid *knock on wood* to this point. I get the key fob not detected warnings upon entrance probably 4/10 times but a little shake always makes it go away. I don’t have the ambient lighting issues where it reverts back. I’ve had a couple times where my seat was way back when I get in the car but soon as I put my foot on the brake it puts me in my profile settings.

I’m not sure if anyone else does this but in my attempt to avoid any black screens or other fob issues upon walking to my Gravity I will always open the lucid app on my phone to “wake it up” before I get to it. Which might seem ridiculous to some, but I have yet to have proximity lock/unlock not work. And I haven’t got any black screens when doing that FWIW. Related? No idea, but it’s just what I do.

Do you have the 3.3.5 fob update? Just curious.

I just confirmed that creating a new driver profile resolves the missing music function, and coincidentally resolved, at least for now, some other bizzare UI bugs I've accumulated.
It's possible that certain bugs are linked to user profile handling, which could explain why some users experiences are different from others. Also possible that resource leakage is in the user memory space, separate from system memory, assuming Android OS has such separation. If so, then bugs randomly popping into user space could be temporarily cleared by refreshing driver profiles at certain intervals, until Lucid resolves the root cause(s). Most custom settings took 2-3 minutes to re-set, with exception of navigation Favs, which sucks to lose every time. But music is working now and I know how to get it back if it happens again, small victory today over Gravlins , a.k.a. Gravity gremlins.

Hmm . . . so another item for page 8 of the workaround list.

Hmmm. So maybe I'll not only just use a key card, but also just use a guest profile with no settings.

New console fixed card issue.
One instance of unresponsive black screen.
I'm on 3.3.3 and will wait awhile on 3.3.5.

Just ran update to 3.3.5… updated last night… drove it around to multiple locales today… in and out of car several times… no resets of either the FOB or the car infotainment. I was reluctant to update until home jic… but now that I am home… I ran it and am glad I did. Gonna try to get FOB update soon. Hopefully get the second FOB at same time.

I had this issue right after the 3.3.5 update. Fortunately, a reset and then a long sleep overnight “fixed” it…

I updated overnight… no problems, prolly slept thru them… seems like the QNX os restarts errant processes on its own after a while if it detects the error. It apparently runs the IoT in the car and the cool ATMOS sound system.

Then you were lucky. Thoughout the four years we owned our 2021 Model S Plaid we had intermittent problems with the key either not unlocking the doors and/or not starting the car. We were never able to venture out in it without a key card which we had to use during those times, times which sometimes lasted 2-3 days before the car started again recognizing the fob. Nor we were ever able to get the automatic gear selection feature to work with reliable accuracy, often trying to send us forward into our garage wall instead of backward out the door.

We never had the problem with our 2015 Model S P90D. However, it did go through four driver door latch mechanisms before one finally held held up for any length of time.

Lord knows we're having our problems with our two Gravities, but Tesla is not the brand I would hold up to them for contrast -- certainly not for build quality or, to some extent, for software sophistication.

Our 26 Model Y lost the phone key settings over and over… had to keep card handy… then it got an ota update and all has been well ever since.

I searched in the forums and found 3 workarounds but it seems there are many more.

I just picked up my GGT on Monday, and have encountered quite a few bugs in the last 3 days (that others have mentioned too):
Black screen
Stuck GPS
No music
Poor phone audio
Charging cable did not release
Charging before scheduled time

Thankfully the lock/unlock problems haven't affected me. Car SW is ver 3.3.5 but I don't know the fob SW version.
(However my phone app says 3.3.2 and "your software is up to date.")

Once again my partner and I were following each other in our Gravities after picking one up from the radar installer, and the music in both cars kept pausing constantly. He was streaming from Spotify and I from Tidal. We stopped for dinner, during which time both cars reset, but the problem continued on the drive home.

This problem keeps repeating, whether we're out in just one of our Lucids or whether they're both on the road. It's also happened to both cars while we were following a Gravity with our Air.

I've not seen much posting from other owners about this problem. Are we the only ones? And what could be causing it? It happens no matter what source we're streaming and also when listening to a USB music stick.

While I have no idea what is causing it, can you try and replicate it with a guest profile? Given it happens with USB stick audio then it can’t be due to connectivity or an issue with Spotify or Tidal but something with the digital audio in the car. It happens in both Gravities but not in your Air, correct?

No, it has also happened In the Air that was on the road at the same time as a Gravity. I was listening to a USB stick in the newest Gravity the first time this happened (October 17), and it continued when I switched to Tidal. My partner was following me home in the Air, and when I got home he said the Air had been doing the same thing while he was streaming Spotify.

Yesterday I took the Air out on an errand while both Gravities were not in use, and the music kept pausing repeatedly.

So it's happening in all three of our Lucids, and when more than one of them is on the road, it happens simultaneously in both cars.

It also seems to happen at the same intervals, i. e., if it's happening every few seconds in one car it's happening at similar intervals in the other. If it happens at longer intervals (as it did tonight), it happens at those longer intervals in both cars.

Once my spotify account was hacked and someone else was using it.. it caused this exact same problem because they were actively playing it and it kept pausing in my tesla. called spotify and they asked if I was in russia.... turned out someone there was using my account.. changed my password and the problem disappeared.
