Is it random or happens every time you’re in the car? I feel like something went wrong with your entire Lucid account and all of your profiles are corrupt. While it’s a pain in the ass I’d first try a guest profile (also guest fob or keycard!) and drive around trying to only use USB audio and no streaming services and see if it happens. If it never happens, try and make a dummy new Spotify free account and see if that gets audio pauses, and try the same with Tidal. If that solves it I’d guess your whole Lucid account is corrupt since that’s the common denominator in all of your vehicles, like when you first set it up you had it put in your Lucid username and password. If your Lucid account is hosed, I have no clue how you could fix that aside from starting a new one from scratch and wiping your vehicles, they’d have to advise what to do.

OK, that's nuts. I can't even fathom a possible explanation for that. My first thought was also that you are both using Spotify and just pausing each other's music because it's 'single stream at a time' or some nonsense, but if this is the case I have no idea whatsoever. I've never heard of it, either.

That’s good to know, my DD cancel button doesn’t act like it’s capacitive even though the wheel does, many times it doesn’t work at all so I have to use the brake pedal to cancel DD. Glad I haven’t had the shift into reverse issue.
That’s why I was thinking it’s a glitch in his actual Lucid account as that’s the only common denominator linking all 3 vehicles. When you set up the car you first log in using Lucidmotors.com username and password, and then you go about creating your user profiles etc. So even a guest profile could behave weird as the keycard and fob are still linked to the owner account. While I don’t understand HOW that would related to any audio constantly quitting including USB which doesn’t require internet connectivity, I can’t think of a single other common denominator shared between the 3 vehicles since if it were just streaming services that shouldn’t affect USB. I’m wagering this wouldn’t happen on a loaner vehicle.

I think ALL buttons on steering wheel are capacitive and my sense/guess is there’s actually only one actuator/button (one for left side of wheel, one for right side) when you press them, so that’s why finger placement is SO sensitive. It’s 100% relying on that capacitive input to know what function you’re trying perform. Total guess, but it feels that way and it would also explain why precise placement if fingers is so important.
I suspect the quality team never bothered to test when there were alligators nearby. So that could be it.

I hadn’t used Tidal and started just for SS Pro. It’s absolutely stunning for many songs. But does have a limited library compared to Spotify.
