Gravity at Natick, MA Studio

I am interested in a Gravity but it's just not ready, at least not yet for me. If you don't like hearing my honest opinions, that's on you but don't jump me for posting my opinions. I've been on the Mercedes forum for many years and never once did anyone post what you just did. And I wasn't being cynical, I posted what I feel are some real short-comings based on what a few owners have honestly reported. I know you are moderator but you need to ease up and allow everyone on the forum to express their own opinions, even when you disagree. Moderators should never stifle others honest opinions.
I am going to go out on a limb and try to defend JoeMa a little bit. I totally agree that when reading through this forum you will begin to see that there are some posters in the “Sky is Falling” category where every minor issue is a “This is deplorable and could end Lucid”, then there are the “Chill, these minor issues are no big deal and being addressed” and finally there are the “This is my honest opinion, this —- is great and I love it, but ——- is a serious issue and major annoyance.” JoeMa as well as me want more of the last type poster. JoeMa is like me, someone who is not an existing Lucid owner who is trying to decide if he wants to jump on the bleeding edge new auto maker bandwagon. I think everyone brings a certain bias to this forum, and we are just hoping people will push back against their bias and be honest in their reviews.

To illustrate this point I will just point to the 100s of posts on the Air key fob/locking issues and the latest key/fob/locking issues being reported on the Gravity.

And while the early software and tech problems are annoying, it's really more the norm than the exception with new EV models. The first year of my 2021 Mustang Mach-E was messy (although putting it in perspective now, not that bad). The 2025 Porsche Macan Electric we just bought has some really annoying software bugs.
I wouldn't have gotten the first model year (or even the first ~100 US models) if I expected everything to be perfect. This is generally a lot nicer than our 2019 Model X delivery experience, although here we got an hour with the delivery service rather than being rushed out the door as quickly as possible! It doesn't do everything in the videos and there are definitely some quirks, but it's really comfortable to drive. I look forward to being surprised and delighted over the next year (and hopefully not too much time in the shop, unless they can give us a Sapphire loaner...)

So... How about those Gravities coming out of Natick?
At least 10, and showing up by the week. Every time I've been in Natick there's been a carrier with multiple Gravity. I still knew a bit more than the delivery team due to this forum, but they are definitely on their game and super excited to get people in Gravity. (Apparently they didn't know about the bears until mine came in.)

Thanks @jered for sharing your impressions and pix! Just curious... have you been able to play with the dynamic ambient lighting yet?
OK, I just got home from dinner and we sat in the driveway in the rain and played with this a bit. It's very pretty, but obviously not all finished yet.

Here's a picture of the shiny, and a video of one of the Sanctuary Mode segments. Not being a Californian I had to suppress some snickering.... I've done my share of yoga and meditation, but it was a bit silly. OTOH, the seat recline with massage is fantastic and I could easily fall asleep for a few hours here. I look forward to a long road trip.
