Gravity accessories slowly appearing

I contacted the Lucid Store to request a refund. This was their response:
I can't believe this is the same company building and delivering the car!

Just do a credit card dispute including all the documentation you have here. It's clear that the accessory fulfillment department at Lucid has zero concern for customer service. (Has someone tagged @marqie in this thread? Seem like something they would want to know about.)

Do you have an Amazon link? I’ve tried 4 different cases and none worked…

Anyone have recommendations for Floor mats ? 🙂

Lucid store was supposed to get inventory on the 30th but perhaps I missed the stock.

Perhaps there’s an alternative vendor?

Not anytime soon. LinerX will have them in about 30 days. I know as they used my car to measure for them.

What is a Bento Box? I looked it up and it says "lunch container"?

It's what Lucid calls the small storage containers that will fit into the bottom compartment of the front console so that you can keep small items separated. They will also apparently include one with a large cupholder for drinks that won't fit in the upper cupholders.

Here's a picture of the bento boxes from a video of one of the Gravity prototypes:

I contacted the Lucid Store to request a refund. This was their response:

"We don't have control over the shipping carrier taking an extra day, however, we provided the services that you had paid for. Therefore, are unable to provide any refund."

I had to send a rather nasty response explaining the law of agency to them, as FedEx was the agent Lucid chose to provide expedited shipping, and I was required to make payment for it to Lucid. Thus the only contract -- for both the paint pen and the expedited shipping -- was between me and Lucid, to which FedEx was not a party. So to say that Lucid had provided the service I had paid them for was an outright lie.

However, I did call FedEx out of curiosity, and they claimed Lucid neither requested nor paid for expedited shipping, so they refused to take up the matter.

Only after I got Lucid Customer Care involved did I get the matter resolved. I was so pissed off by the flippant tone coupled with the legally incorrect position of the response from the Lucid Store that I was prepared to take the matter to small claims court for nothing more than the pleasure of putting them through the grinder.
Sounds like you got the matter resolved, but FYI that tracking number is a FedEx Home Delivery tracking number (you can see it if you search the tracking number and scroll down to see what service was used). Home Delivery is a ground service, not an express/expedited service. Period.

Just took the folding frunk cargo bins for their first test on a grocery run, and they did not disappoint.

They fit perfectly into a grocery cart when unfolded. So we just had the clerk pack our items into them instead of bags. We rolled them out to the car, dropped them in the frunk, parked the cart, and took off. At home we just carried them into the house and unloaded them directly into the pantry. No fooling with packing and unpacking multiple bags at either end and appreciably reduced our time standing in a hot Florida parking lot while someone waited for our space. And the flat bottoms are sturdy enough to bear quite a load.

Now bring on those bento boxes, Lucid.

Does anyone know if the RangeXchange charging adapter comes with a case? The case for the charging cord that comes with the car doesn’t exactly have a lot of extra room in it. Sometimes I struggle to wind the cord tightly enough to get it to fit in.

LinerX will have their floormats and cargo mats for Gravity in about 30 days. They’re making a frunk mat and one for trunk (with third row down, which means it’s great for five seater too).

Second row mat and third row (canyon area) mat have much higher/deeper “lip” than Lucid mats - so for those of us with kids bringing rain, snow and who knows what else into car, I think the LinerX will be better than the Lucid mats I have. Will post some pics for folks to see tomorrow.

Always good to see some third party accessories come out and support the Gravity.

I have no affiliation with LinerX. They happen to be based in MD and folks on forum mentioned they were interested in LinerX mats, so I offered to bring my Gravity there a couple months ago so they could scan it to make the mats.

I seem to recall reading on the forum a while ago the same time frame .
“Soon,” I’m sure.
My order is still in production, so I’m ok with the wait.
