Gravity 3.5.1

So I've been lucky with my Gravity as far as bugs/issues, so far. However, after using 3.5.1 for a week or two without any problems, suddenly my driver's side window is bouncing off the top every single time I try to close it. It will not stay closed. I can nudge it a bit at a time until it mostly seals, but not ideal. I have tried restarting car several times, doing the 5-10 second hold on window button, making sure no debris in window channel, etc. to no avail.

The mobile guy told me this is a known software issue, but to me, seeing it started at a random time, feels more like a mechanical/motor issue. Are others having this issue and any additional info on this? (I'm 4 hours from nearest SC so hoping it's software or a sensitivity setting or something.)

Nobody knows anything I swear. My Airhas the same error, but I’m inclined to think the software is probably true because I have the exact same problems with the handles that Gravity is starting to get. They shipped it back from service last time saying there’s no fix for it and they don’t have a way to test mobile keys. I would assume fundamentally the gravity is the same way. I actually guess I would’ve been OK with that if the roof hadn’t broken the day after I got it back again.

Did your service center change you might want to check? The nearest and my usual service center to me is 5 hours away, but the one that my car is assigned to is now almost 9 hours way.

Even had I not known what a POS my Air was going to be, I would have never agreed to buy it with a “assigned” service center 9 hours away. And I sure as hell won’t buy the lease at the end. Buy a car in Idaho that can only be serviced in Southern California??? They shouldn’t even sell it then.

Anyone? Bueller? lol Just curious if others are having or have had this issue. It feels like hardware but mobile tech on phone says it's software and fix is coming. But I don't want to wait a month with a window that won't completely close only to find out the software didn't fix it...and then wait for an appt. Thoughts?

Have you tried the window reset trick/maneuver? I used to have this issue more frequently but it has been drastically improved with the last couple of updates.

Does it close if you do it with the door open and then close the door with window up?

You need your seals adjusted. This isn’t a software issue. There are two workarounds:

1. Open the door, then close the window, then close the door. It will work fine.

2. Do it three times, and on each it’ll bounce back down. On the third (or fourth, can’t remember), hold it, and it will seal.

But the solution is service.

In my original post, I was referring to an exterior door handle that presented when activated. I'll give you a A+ for effort, however the electric unlatching as opposed to the 2012 Tesla Model S motorized presenting of the door handle are arguably not the same, but certainly are similar. In reality, the C6 was more sophisitcated - it opened the door in one action - the Lucid requires two - present door handle with first touch, then a pull on the door handle to open. :)
 
I did not say retractable handles I said electric latches. But 2 decades on I approach the car with fob (and 5 year old batteries) in my pocket grab the door and it opens. After driving I walk away and when I'm 50 feet away the lights flash as it auto locks.
 
3.5.1 has sent the Parking features haywire. First back up cam intermittently stops working, now it works, and everything else stops working properly until a soft reboot.
 
Since version 3.3.20 and continuing through the current 3.5.1, I’ve been experiencing an annoying bug related to HomeLink.
When I approach our community gates, I tap the HomeLink icon on the Clearview Cockpit. However, every time I do this, the HomeLink options (I have two: gates and garage) appear for a second and then disappear. As a result, I have to tap the icon multiple times until the options finally stay long enough for me to select the gate.
I’m not sure what causes the options to disappear. It might be related to the car still rolling slowly, since the same options always remain stable when I approach the garage at our house.
Does anyone else experience this?

It is related to the car being rolling slowly. It should work if the car stops completely.

Yup, I’m having the same issue with the rear view camera not appearing. I’m also having the main vehicle screen in the pilot panel frozen almost every day. I can’t switch drive modes, adjust mirrors/steering wheel (if ever needed) or open the trunk/frunk. Luckily I can still open them from the Cockpit Panel.

still, it's strange how those options actually drop down by themselves, when I approach garage, probably car stored location when I programmed both of them. Wish they did the same near the gates too.
Probably what I should do is to program the neighboughood gates near the actual gates locaiton.

I hope it's a bug that they'll fix at some point. Nearly everyone is 100% HOLD or 100% CREEP, not switching back and forth.

It's annoying to have to change it to CREEP every fricking time.
