It could be 4-5 months, but depending on your location and color choices it’s best to prepare for 6 months.

My bad, I was talking about a GT confirmed order. I personally don’t think they will start Touring production until August or September at the pace of GTs are being produced.
 
To add to batch tracker, I ordered Air Grand Touring, Zenith Red, Tahoe, 19" - Reserved 02/01/2022, order confirmed 03/10/2022. Location is Newport Beach, CA.
 
I ordered GT in Silver with Santa Cruz interior, 19". Reserved 9/10/21, confirmed 12/15/21. Just got a call from delivery advisor with updated time-frame to June/July which is 6-7 months out vs 2-4 I was told in December. Asked about grey and was informed it would still be June/July.
 
Just got off the phone with my DA, not the news I wanted but at least straightforward. Without going into how the sausage is made here are the highlights.
Silver will not go into production until June/July. Grey will come about month before. Was offered the option of White which would be delivered in May.

If there’s one thing this forum has demonstrated repeatedly, it’s that we want to know how the sausage is made.

If they’ve stopped making red, maybe I’ll see my AGT on the next cycle. August?

Original reservation 2/2/21. Confirmed AGT, Gray, Santa Cruz, 20" on 2/15/22.

Reds Blacks and Whites are not affected. I was told it has to do with the silver paint and the application.

Did you take them up on the offer of white? Did the DA give you the option of only White - how about Red/Black (which are all being produced right now)?

Other colors were an option. They offered me White because I had considered that color awhile ago. Still haven't made my mind up, but If they are saying June/July before production then who knows when they will deliver.
 
This is getting really frustrating. I directly asked my DA about changing the interior and/or exterior color and was told it would delay my order. This was last Friday.

I'm a Nov 15th confirmation with Grey / Santa Cruz.

Last Friday was last Friday. Today is today! Call your DA!
 
I spoke with my DA. Here's my update:

Grays have started production this week, my car included. My car is scheduled to be painted next week with hope for a VIN on 4/7 or thereabouts.

He did confirm that silvers are unfortunately quite delayed. The DAs are now calling all their gray and silver reservation holders with updates, so hold tight if you haven't heard yet. They now have a lot more specific information than before, so ask questions if you have them!

Interesting. That seems to be in conflict with what @dale246 and @FirstEV posted later on this thread:
