Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Hope to see it at Cars and Coffee or around town in Charlotte. I’m waiting for a Touring I ordered in August of 2021.

@Sandvinsd - I have no detail yet on delivery, but probably Monday.

Great news. Fingers triple crossed no more delays. If I remember correctly, there was only one fast charger at Riviera Beach service center. But that was 3 months ago.

Just an update for the tracker. My order is missing and is listed on the bottom of the Zenith Red tracker. Order confirmed date is 3/5/22. Thank you!

we need 'ask an owner' thread here. i guess i will ask my question here
- do i have to disable park assist if i need to park really close to my garage wall? i believe park assist would auto break if you get too close?
- for lane assist, how easy is to override it? some of the lanes in my area are not marked well and i worry my car would fight me to stay on the wrong lane.

Park assist? If it's park comfort braking they removed it

Lane keeping is easy to pull the wheel back, but I think at this point in time most owners have it disabled
 
An update for the tracker:

Original confirmation date 2/15/22 for Grey / Santa Cruz / 19; I'm now accepting a Grey / Mojave / 21. VIN assigned 7/13/22.

I'll be buying the 19's separately, and getting along better at home with wife over the Mojave change.

Car is going through PDI in Houston now, to be shipped to Goose Island. Very happy to have it in time for late summer / fall road trips. Yay!

updated but I bet the VIN was assigned to the cancellation back in April. Either way, updated your record, thanks and smart decision!

i'm sure they will show me how when i pick up the car but where do i disable the lane assist?

I park within a displayed 15” of my garage wall and nothing stops me. I am , however, traveling at like 1 mph though.

It’s tight. A little more so than a Tesla if you’ve experienced that. But you can break it away and not swerve aggressively with some practice. It tends to want to put the wheel closest to the painted line you are encroaching on top of it. Like riding it like a rail. From my experience anyhow. I also have it off for the most part.

It’s a setting in the pilot panel under dream drive. Right at the top. An icon will also appear on the dash to advise you it’s off

Yes. Just got my DA assignment so will update here after that if any different. Was at an SF studio yesterday and they were saying 2-4, but really 5. They said almost every GT customer is asking about carplay/auto and when DreamDrive features are coming that are available in any car today at that (and much lower) price points.

I literally just spoke to my new DA yesterday, who assured me that as far as she knew, Cosmos Silver was still slated for Q3. So either corporate isn’t informing their customer reps properly, or she fibbed!
