Hello,

So my clicker for the garage door is lost and the only way we can open the door is witb our Audi which was programmed a long time ago while we still had the clicker. Any ideas how I can program my Lucid if I don’t have the original clicker ?

Try using the Audi as a clicker.

Your opener should have a panel on the side of it with a button you can push to get the Lucid to learn it when you're on the homelink settings. That was how I got mine to work with the car, I couldn't get it to work with the clicker. I think the Lucid owners manual gives instructions on how to do it, you just need a ladder and leave the Lucid door open so you can climb up the ladder and push the button on the opener then climb down fast and press the button in the Lucid Homelink to pair it, I think it has a 30 second timer or something annoying like that. I ended up automating my opener with Apple HomeKit via Homebridge so now it just auto-senses when I come home or leave and my apple watch prompts me if I want to run the home automation, so I do it that way. This is only doable if you have a smart garage opener on your WiFi network. Works great, no buttons or fussing and it detects my arrival sooner than the Lucid does, but it's the PITA to set up as you need an old iPad or laptop and a Raspberry Pi or HOOBS box (I got HOOBS), and then have to find the Homekit bridge for the garage opener as it's not native.

I don't know as I have never had this problem. I would contact the manufacturer of the garage door motor for advice. I'm guessing they will sell you a replacement (probably available at Amazon/Home Depot/Lowes as well...I'd ask them to replace at no cost since you are a loyal customer!) They will also instruct you how to clear the lost clicker code from the garage door motor. Then follow the instructions for the new clicker....then follow the Lucid instructions.

Along this same thought, I've had spare garage door openers and have linked them to the garage door (by following the linking instructions of the garage door opener itself) then you can use that freshly linked garage door opener to link the Lucid.
