I'm pleased to be able to stream my music apps like Qobuz and Amazon with high resolution quality for free, but I'm wondering how long the free wifi hotspot lasts?
I don't know if it matters, but my cellular provider is Ting, which I believe uses the T-Mobile network.

There is no wifi hotspot in the car. Anything you are streaming over CarPlay will work as long as your phone has cellular service.

The cellular service in the car is used for the media that is built into the car (Spotify, Tidal, XM, TuneIn, and so on). We don't know if or when they will be charging for htat.

How have legacy EV manufacturers been handling their product’s connectivity?
Tesla charged a monthly fee when I had mine. It wasn't excessive.
