One indicator I often use on high tech high priced items is high traffic on forums discussing that new tech.

Where is everybody? Couple posts a day, really?

I would have expected and hoped this forum would be buzzing.

If something doesn’t have enough volume it won’t survive or be supported in the long run.

Thanks for your concern. The water’s fine. Come on in.

Where have you been? Have you seen the OTA 2.5 thread? What about the Gravity Orders thread or the Gravity Discussions thread?

Are you looking in the right spot? There are several posts a day, just not several threads a day.

Which forum are you on? It can’t be this one. It takes an hour a day to go through the tons of new posts every day.

My backend statistics indicate that your analysis is very wrong.

I think the clue to decode this deliberately-inaccurate message lies in this:

It's just another fanboy troll at work, probably seriously worked up over the growing consensus among the automotive press that Lucid has taken the lead in EV technology.

I tend to agree...just relative to other forums. Have placed my gravity order and looking forward to it. But coming from Tesla forums and even others like Acura and Volvo forums, it's seems a little light, especially for a vehicle that seems to be highly anticipated. Not a knock, just an observation. It may just be that there isn't much to discuss right now especially about the gravity given that there aren't real any demo vehicles, test drives, etc. Will be interested to see how it changes as first production vehicles hit the road.

I would say that is not a fair comparison.

Just a FYI, the forums are currently averaging 190 posts per day in November. That may be "lighter" than more established brand forums, but I would say that is far from a couple posts per day.

Less controversies less posts. For example, Lucid occupants can open all the front and rear doors without the need of power, while Tesla can do that easily for front doors only. It's possible to do that for Tesla rear doors but it's kind of complicated and not practical in a car crash.

Lucid's first -- and so far only -- product, the Air sedan, is currently outselling the Tesla Model S, the Mercedes EQS, and the Porsche Taycan in the U.S. It is soon to enter the broader SUV market, followed by entry into the mass market with its midsize CUV in a couple of years. It's way too early to conclude anything about Lucid's sales volume.
