First Dream Edition Delivery!

Maybe highlighting to give it a perception of depth? I'm on the fence about leaving it on as it is. As I'm going to wrap the car, it's being raised would resolve me on removing it.

We still don't know the answer to the longstanding mystery of if there's a backwards facing bear on the other side though! 😂

Yep, I finally saw that. But he got No. 004. So I'm wondering if someone else got the 001 that was originally planned to go to him as the April delivery?
It is not necessarily true that they're being delivered in order. The Airs weren't. Also, I may or may not have requested a sillplate number years ago through the grapevine so we'll see if it happens lmao (I'm betting no, because that's annoying, haha)

So sorry everyone! I know the speculation has been WILD around the internet, but I do in fact have the vehicle and it is currently in my garage.

There are two bear logos, and on the drivers side the bear is facing towards the front of the vehicle and on the passengers side the bear is facing towards the rear of the vehicle. And yes, the logo is thick. It’s metal, likely aluminum. I’d say about the thickness of sheet metal.

What things would you like to know about the vehicle??

I was the very first owner to take delivery of the dream and drive it away. So the first one on the road. The serials 1,2, and 3 were shipped to Saudi I believe.

Sooooo....when are you doing the Dream Edition 0-60mph test for all of us?! 😁 😅

Are you able to get it on April 30th or its delayed?

@037 will be very happy to know it turns out, obviously, like all of my friends have a dragy and a race box and a vbox lol

So I’m gonna borrow a dragy in the next couple weeks and run some tests. :)

If you’re going to wrap it, then you 100% have to remove the decals.

Congrats.
Can you comment on the rearview mirror? How is it compared to your other cars? On the Lucid Air, it's a very "compressed" and distorted view and I can't see very well the cars behind me.
Thank you.

Congratulations! Is the HUD working at partial capacity? How about the highway quietness? Ride quality on rough pavement? Is the last digit of your VIN 4 to indicate No.4 of DE? Thanks!

It’s a pretty basic rear view mirror. I really had hoped they would have the rear view mirror be electronic with a camera feed like how Land Rover Defender (2022 and on) have theirs. But otherwise, yeah, it’s just a basic mirror that has basic mirror performance. It’s SO much easier to see out of the Gravity than it is on the Air, so the rear view mirror isn’t really anything that bothers or excites me. Better than the Air mirror for sure.

HUD is working for the features that are currently available, which is turn by turn nav, current speed limit, speedometer. For these functions the HUD works like any other hud. You can adjust its brightness on the menu screen. It’s visible and easy to read. It sits low on your sight line so it’s quite a bit less distracting than other ones I’ve used in various vehicles. But the advanced AR mode isn’t currently a thing.

Highway quietness is next to none. I’m so impressed with this aspect of the vehicle.

I didn’t have any rough roads around me so I can’t speak to that yet.

No, there is no correlation between the VIN and the DE badge number. I’m serial #4 but there isn’t a single 4 in my entire VIN.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback!

Now I’m even more excruciating because I still have to wait for mine.

Hands free working? How about carplay or Android auto?

Since you had them swap the wheels, I assume they matched the small wheel Gravity configuration and they are staggered? Or are they the same size? It is hard to tell by looking at the picture.
