First Dream Edition Delivery!

I have been using the ALP laser jammer on my Aviator and despite multiple hits only bystanders ever been pulled over. Latest laser hit was in the past two weeks.

No idea how EV installs go but it is an excellent stand alone system.

ALP is the best there is for laser. Stinger is fantastic and more stealthy, and similar in effectiveness to ALP, but ALP is the gold standard.

The ALP routinely gets rated the best laser detector/jammer on the market, particularly with the tricky Dragon Eye guns. My understanding is it can be ganged with other brands of radar detector if desired.

I've just today decided to go with the Uniden R9w installed radar/laser unit on our Gravities. It's now rated the best combo installed unit by "Car & Driver", "Vortex Radar", and other credible reviewers.

I'm going to the installation shop Monday to see if I can buy two units they have in stock before the tariffs hit, as pretty much all such units are packed with imported components if not outright made outside the U.S.

Pretty exciting news! I got a call from the manager at the Scottsdale showroom on Thursday night. He asked if I would be interested in taking delivery of the first Dream Edition, with the caveat that the CEO would be attending, there would be a ribbon cutting ceremony, and it will be filmed. They want to do it before the end of the month!

I wanted the smaller tires for the added range so they are changing those away from the 21”/22” that come “standard”, but I’m due to take delivery on 4/30/25.

I can’t wait! I’m leasing it to take advantage of the $7500 credit. I’ll post pics once I take delivery on Wednesday.
🤣I was so confused by this at first. I thought you were referring to the Dream Edition sedan. Then I woke up and remembered the SUV is out! Congratulations, it’s beautiful.

Trying to catch up on this thread- have we confirmed this is real? If not and we don't see any updates tomorrow should this thread be retitled speculation?

Lucid is very creative with words in their news releases

Well, I just talked to my delivery specialist, who confirmed that my DE hasn’t even left the factory yet. The waiting continues, I guess.

And is the OP just disappearing at this point? He was online and checking the forum on Saturday night. What’s going on?

Not mine…I am in line for a GT and as a non Air owner who wants the HUD I am more of a winter timeline.
Ah. The OP's then, perhaps?

He posted three hours ago on Reddit that he now has the car and invited questions.

I suppose this is confirmation that at least one DE order with the smallest wheel option was put into production (or OP changed the config just before delivery). Those pics have the Hankook Ion EVO AS tires.

According to the Reddit thread on the first GDE delivery:

- HUD working but only displaying basic information at this point and lower in field of vision than most other systems (a good thing)
- CarPlay not yet active
- Audio system fantastic

The OP said that Lucid switched the wheels before delivery at his request, per his original order. The car originally had the 21/22" mid-size wheels.

No mention of when he took delivery. Someone chided him about not getting delivery in April, but he didn't respond to the comment. I didn't see anything indicating Lucid claimed an April delivery in today's earnings call, but I didn't tune in myself.

Lucid has posted three press releases this month to its Media Room, but none of them mention an April delivery of a Gravity.

Missed that about the wheels, thanks. The OP replied to that comment saying he took delivery today.
