Firmware Updates in Germany

It’s so weird that my Air is still showing 2.1.1 as up to date. Did you have to do anything on your end to get it to show the update available for download?
Up to date just means there is no update available for your car specifically. They’re rolled out in batches, not available to everyone at the same time, so that bugs can be caught before everyone is stuck with them.

I tested the new 2.6.5;
What I liked:
- on main screen; when you choose Smooth, Swift or Sprint mode; you can directly choose the type of Regenerative Braking between Off, Standard or High without the need to Navigate through other menu's.
- also the Warning/Confirmation window to acknowledge Sprint mode has disappeard which is great, one button less to touch each time.
- in the app I can now remotely precondition the battery and open the charging port, this saves sometimes opening the driver door and pushing on the button to open the port.

What I disliked;
- somehow I have to enter my pin-code each time I want to drive away. Normally this only happens when I forget my key. Don't know yet how to switch this off
- extra soound warnings Maximum speed and Speed update; but I could turn them off, not sure if I have to do this each time.

What I didn't understand:
- In the help menu I could see some examples of the Hey Lucid voice control, the example texts were written in Dutch language, but clearly after speaking those commands, I'm sure the car only understands English.

I had the same issue with the mobile key (phone) not working correctly after the update. I just deleted it on my phone and paired it again and now everything is working (maybe even better than before).
The sound for the speed limit is turned on every time you start to drive. This is, afaik, a EU regulation, but only for new cars. Very sad that Lucid decided to implement it in existing cars.

It seemed to me as if it was an english voice trying to read german text. After I reinstalled the german language pack it was working fine.
But the lucid assistant did not understand me well. Even the suggested commands (from the manual) worked only half of the time.

Thanks for the Info! Will be getting an Air Pure AWD soon (in Germany) that supposedly is already upgraded to 2.6.5. What's your experience regarding the stability of the maps app and the reliability of the software overall with 2.6.5? That was an issue during my test drive a few months ago...

I received and installed the update yesterday for my Air DE.

The single biggest noticeable change is the insane improvement of the Sound System.

CarPlay has so far been 100% stable as has been the Lucid Nav app. The entire OS feels snappier, less cluttered and the new functions are pretty ace as well.
