Different Culture on Lucid Charging experienced

Just moved from Tesla to Lucid Air GT.

I was really worried about the charging experience on trips. Super Charging for me was free and easy.

I find the new experience preferred for several reasons

1). The culture - When ever I charge people are outside their cars talking. A real sense of community across all car brands. talking about the EV experience and their cars. With Tesla you back into your space, put the cord in and get back in the car.
2) More charging options - I can find EV stations everywhere - not limited to super chargers
3) Faster charging with Electrify America than Tesla - big difference here. Use to sit in the tesla for an hour (2017 S 75D) now in and out in less than 20 minutes


Wondering if others experienced the culture difference I cite above?

Being my first EV I have no comparison. I have found EA to be fast and (other than one case) reliable. But get ready for carping about EA.

I haven’t been to a charger since we got the home charger and I really miss that part of charging. I especially miss when someone asks me how I like Luci. Then…. The cray cray #IloveLuci Chrry comes out and they have no hope of getting away until one of our cats is done charging.

Charging has been about as easy as can be for me in my 6 months of ownership. Went to EA today and for the first time all 6 chargers were busy. I went to dinner and came back and 5 were free. Charged from 7% SOC to 80% SOC in less than 30 mins.

Did you only use Tesla SC in the past? Why didn't you use other chargers?

I only used superchargers for my Tesla because I had free supercharging AND these were prevelant enough (except between my home and my son's college- where there were none).
