Lucid Air Touring
I prefer to use CarPlay and have done so for over a year. Recently it has not been loading consistently when I get in the car, but eventually loads. Then, the other day it would not connect, but would just spin. Yesterday I updated my iPhone to 18.2.2 and now the CarPlay icon is not showing in the car display. My phone is showing, and Lucid is showing in CarPlay in the phone. I have cut Bluetooth off and on several times and deleted my phone and reconnected it several times. I said yes to CarPlay during the pairing process.

I’ve been having similar issue since the most recent update. I believe it’s a Lucid issue as I have no connectivity issues in my 4 other vehicles.
Sometimes it connects instantly while other times it’s a couple minutes or in some cases I need to go into the connectivity settings and manual connect. Sometimes it just won’t connect. Deleted and reconnected a couple times with no luck. I’m now using the USB connection as this is the only way to get a consistent connection.
 
I’ve followed all the best practices with no luck. Not sure where to go from here other than stay tethered, which isn’t that big of a deal.

Do you have a VPN?
 
I wonder if these issues are because of iOS 18 and not because something changed on our cars.

A rental Mach-E I had recently had trouble too.

Could be but I have no issues with our 4 other cars. Only the lucid

I am in the same boat. A bit frustrating. Hopefully lucid fixes this issue by OTA soon
 
Have you guys seeing same behavior with wired and wireless car play ? I’m on 18.1.1 and don’t see the behavior. Guess, I will postpone the iOS update

This is not a widespread issue. No problems with 18.2 here for months.
 
I'm having the same issue. I need to go through the whole process in Bobby's video, including Air logo reset, at least twice a week to get back.
 
It was working, but it has gone down again. I have done the whole reset thing several times with no luck. I will need to do the computer reset again.

Explain what you have tried. Then we can try to help you.
 
After multiple unpairings, repairings, resets, etc., on my own and with a mobile technician from Lucid, I gave up. I bought an Ottocast online and it now works 100% of the time. Disappointing, but I could never get any cooperation at the service center.
 
I might look into the Ottacast. I've done everything recommended. Don't have VPN or hotspot on. Had to go through the process again this morning.
 
Just to be clear - you have tried going into settings, devices, and then hitting the CarPlay button? You have tried turning Bluetooth off and back on both in the car and on your phone? Same with WiFi on the phone?

Can you take a video the next time it fails?
