RESOLVED CarPlay won’t even appear now after 2.2.10

After 2.2.10, CarPlay would not reconnect. I’ve tried signing out, remove phone and reconnecting to CarPlay (pairs just find in phone CarPlay settings) but the usual icons both on screen and control interface are missing.

It's been working fine for me. Have you tried a logo reset?

Have you removed CarPlay from the phone itself? It sounds like that may be the issue.

Settings -> General -> CarPlay -> LUCID. Make sure it’s on and/or remove it and re-pair it with the car from scratch.

If it is toggled off, CarPlay should still work, but wired only. Try that too.

Hi, I have the exact same problem. I've tried rebooting the car, the phone, deleting the Bluetooth connect, reestablishing the BT connection, hardwire/USB connection... nothing. CarPlay still won't start.

Any new ideas?

I managed to get this to work. The steps I followed were:

On iPhone following these instructions starting at item 5 (https://support.apple.com/en-us/105109#:~:text=If CarPlay doesn)
Then in the Content and Privacy restrictions section, I toggled CarPlay off and then on
Then I went into the iPhone CarPlay app and selected the Lucid and chose "forget device"
Then I did a hard reboot of the iPhone
When the iPhone rebooted I then went into Bluetooth and repaired it with the Lucid (note all the above steps were far away from the car)
After the typical BT handshake and approval of the passcodes, CarPlay came up

A couple of notes:

This was all wireless
I'm 95% certain on the steps above
