Wouldn't you say that's also the overall purpose of Blind? To be able to anonymously air any grievances you have with your company without fear of retaliation?

The overall purpose of Blind is to sell ads and compensation data.

The problem with it is that there are a ton of trolls and anonymous gossip chatter tends to lend itself to being an over-representative sample of negative reviews. From Blind, you might think that a company’s culture is awful, because you only see a few dozen or hundred reports and they’re all negative. But in reality a company may have hundreds or thousands of employees, all of whom are very happy, and aren’t going to bother posting on Blind because why would they - they’re happy. There is no incentive due to the fact that they’re not looking to commiserate.

So that’s what you get: every company is garbage, everyone sucks, and everyone is unfair, and we’re all just plastic bags floating in the wind and everybody dies one day.

Oh, and you don’t make enough money and should quit and join the ranks of those who make millions a year because that anonymous total comp is TOTALLY LEGITIMATE I promise. Trust me, I’m “throwaway738”
