2024 Lucid Air Touring
Hi,

I'm picking up my 2024 lucid Air Touring tomorrow (financing the car) and I'm super excited!

Now, as I reviewed the purchase agreement today, I was struck to see that the purchase agreement did not include any provision for GAP insurance. BofA also does not offer GAP insurance. I went with them given the 2.99% interest rate.

My current insurance, progressive, offers a lite version of GAP insurance that will cover up to 25% of the current value of the car, at the time it's totaled. I signed up to this, better to have some coverage than none.

Has anyone been able to get full GAP insurance on a financed lucid? If so, how?

thanks in advanced.

Yup. I use PURE.

I was just told by a Natick CS rep that the Lucid leases (Tryon) include GAP coverage....does this seem right? (still haven't seen the lease details; not sent til 48hrs before delivery!?!)

One of the insurers I'm considering offers a GAP option ($70/yr), the other does not.

Would be good to know. I too got my lease from Natick here on NH. Presume yours too was via BofA.

IIRC, the lease states that if the car is totaled you only owe what the insurance pays. I remember reading that earlier this month when I signed my lease.

For those financing their lucid, AAA does offer GAP insurance. I ultimately went with them.
