Been waiting a long time for Android Auto, hoping it would restore the functionality that was removed when it went from Alexa to Hey Lucid, but no joy. I don't see any way to connect Alexa via AA, and even using Google ("OK Google") the response doesn't come through the car's speakers, just displays on the phone. I am happy to have access to Waze, but that is the only think that this updated provided for me. I don't suppose there is any plan to once again have access to Alexa?

For me, on Android 16:
When I say "OK Google" or "Hey Google" in the car, Google Assistant responds over the car's speakers.
If I press the microphone button on the steering wheel, Lucid's own voice assistant responds over the car's speakers.

I looked and I'm on Android 14, so maybe that's it (even though that's not that far behind).

With CarPlay, you can press and hold the microphone button to access Siri instead of Lucid Assistant. I'd guess it's the same for Google Assistant?

That's how my old id4 was. I'll take a look today and see if it is the same.

Oh right, I forgot!
Long Press = Google Assistant, short press = Lucid Assistant.

Long press the mic button for Google assistant.

For Alexa, are you able to use an Amazon/Alexa app thru AA?

Also, try restarting your phone to see if you have full AA function and sound through the speakers. I was having trouble yesterday, restarted my pixel and it helped
