Alexa not working again.

All day today I just get "sorry, I didn't get that. The internet isn't reachable" Is Anyone else having this problem? Any solution?
That's happened twice in the week and a half I've had it. A reset usually did the job

reset didn't work. Just switched profiles with my wife and back again to mine and Alexa works again

I've found Alexa to be generally cooperative on 2.0.47.

Had persistent issues with Alexa from day 1 but now it’s all resolved with the latest 2.0.47.
I guess i spoke too soon. I asked Alexa to find the nearest Costco and it couldn't find it. I think it tried to show me some results but nothing showed up.

Does anyone have a step by step on enabling Alexa to send sms texts via voice? She said (and has been discussed) it’s a setting in the app, but for the life of me cannot find where

Step-by-step guide is in the Owner's Guide, section "Using Alexa".
Calling and Messaging Setup 1. Ensure your phone is paired and connected under Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth and tap on the ellipsis to access phone options. 2. Turn on the “Sync Messages” and “Sync Contacts” toggles – this allows the Dialer app to gain access to the messages and contacts on your phone. . Turn on the “Allow Alexa to Access Contacts” and “Allow Alexa to Read Messages” toggles – this allows Alexa to gain access to the messages and contacts from the Dialer app. 4. Alternatively, go to Settings > Applications > Alexa > Settings > Communication and ensure the toggles are turned on.

Thank you for doing that, and I’m sorry to ask but are you referring to the Lucid app or the Alexa app? Bc when I go into the settings tab of either; I cannot find the connectivity…

The Owner's manual is referring to the car's pilot panel settings, right? Check out the manual for pictures and steps. PDF version is downloadable which makes reading and searching easier.

I tried to turn on steering wheel heat, and she replied that my vehicle is not equipped with that feature! So like a savage, I had to fumble with the Pilot Panel to get my hands toasty! 🔥 🖐️

I could not get Alexa to do that, either. Figured I must have said it incorrectly, or something.

I'm not surprised I'm as unimpressed with Alexa as I am with Google Assistant and Siri. I'm usually the first to jump on any new tech bandwagon, but voice-controlled computing is still a Star Trek fantasy at this point, as far as I can tell.

Running 2.0.47. Alexa would not switch to CNN on Sirius. I know this commands works inside my home. Also tried "Alexa enter destination" Did not work either. Do we have to enable any Alexa skills for it to work in Lucid?

“Alexa, navigate to” is the right incantation for nav

Now I just need to consult Endora for all the spells Alexa can cast

If you pull up the Alexa settings in the car, there will be a list of “Things to try” which is fairly exhaustive.
Yea I did see that, but amazingly when I asked to turn on steering wheel heat (which is a natural voice command IMHO), I was told my car doesn’t have that feature. here’s hoping there’s improvements

I think its odd that Alexa can turn on the heat for my seat but not the heat for the steering wheel.
Exactly, it’s a natural command that should work. Works correctly on my Model S, hopefully it will be added.

Yeah. The good thing is any command they missed with Alexa should be able to be added.

Thanks "navigate to xxx address" works. Way better than typing in an address.

Alexa does not know that SiriusXM exists. Alexa will switch to FM radio but not SirisuXM. Alexa: "Not Supported on this device"
