I'm still on 2.8.16 on my AGT with DDPro. It is rock solid. I have no desire to upgrade atm.

At this point it’s definitely fine to contact customer care and ask them to push it to you if they haven’t yet.

That’s fine, of course, until there is a newer update; you will have to update to 2.8.30 first, and then that.
 
I updated to 2.8.30 and now have zero modem/wifi connectivity.

You need to have your TCU reset. If you search the forums you’ll find the procedure, or service can do it. It’s coincidental to the update, not causal.

If you have v1 of the TCU, let service know and they can swap it for you for v2, which doesn’t have this issue.

Thanks B! It's a 2026 Air so I assume v2. Multiple reboots didn't fix, but an overnight sleep seems to have. Just worried it will come back. I saw the thread about resetting the TCU with some fairly major warnings about potentially voiding warranty etc. Seems like this is a common issue and I'm surprised the car reboot doesn't reset the TCU as well?

Service said to call customer service which seems strange to me. Shouldn't this be a service issue? Still trying to figure out how Lucid works...

You should be fine. The v1 TCU has this issue. The v2 can, but usually takes care of itself after a sleep.

The in-car reboot only resets infotainment. A sleep resets everything.

As I'm a really old fart with no technology knowledge , what is the TCU & what does it do? Thx.
 
Reached out to customer service via text and after a few messages back and forth, the update (2.8.17) was pushed to my Lucid and then subsequently 2.8.30. A Logo Reset and all seems to be working well, and perhaps a slightly quicker response to engage Apple Car Play relative to 2.8.16 (admittedly with only a few times since the update).

Telematics Control Unit, basically connects the car to the internet

Upgraded to 2.8.30 last night. On my morning drive DDPro would not go into Hands-Free Drive Assist. Stayed in Drive Assist the whole time. If it happens on the way home tonight, I'll do a logo reset. Just curious if anyone else having this behavior. I have a 22 Air GT with CCV2 upgrade. Thanks!

after a week or so of working fine on this update, my hands-free drive assist is now not working on the highway. the problem? my car is currently displaying (inaccurately) as located in the middle of a farm about 200 miles away. i wonder if this is what happened to yours too?
 
Just chiming in here regarding my 2025 pure. Over the last week or so I’m suddenly starting to have issues that last occurred several updates ago involving sound only coming out out of the front left driver side speaker Bluetooth speaker not working properly and intermittent Parking system failure warnings that don’t appear to be true or accurate. Inversions prior to.16. I would occasionally get one or all of these issues, but I never had it on .16.

A logo reset usually cures the issue until it reoccurs again. Over the last week it’s occurred three times requiring three resets. Is anyone else having these issues in their air?
 
I’ve started running into to a similar issue where pre-.16 bugs are making a comeback in .30. CarPlay not working, can’t get Nav to work, profiles messed up/not loading. “Improved reliability” is not being found for me. I miss the “robustness” we previously had.
 
Still on 2.8.16 and the car is operating beautifully. I have a sneaking suspicion that Lucid is letting me (and others) roll with this version because my car's configuration doesn't need the fixes present in 2.8.30. Probably wrong, but in the absence of factual information I reserve the right to make things up!

I have a base Pure and got the update so…I’m not sure about that. It was in for 1 year service when it came through however.
