Air Version 2.8.30

After 2.8.30 my car no longer highlights when I’m exceeding what it thinks is the speed limit. (Which I am happy about.) Did this happen in a prior revision and I just noticed now?
 
I also experienced the frunk opening problem after 2.8.30 update. Actually damaged the front silver strip. Going in tomorrow for fix. This did happen a while back also.
 
Logo reset corrected a few glitches after updating on Saturday.

Sleep worked for me. If still not working for you, suggest a Lucid service call.

There is often confusion regarding the different reset procedures for the Air. Here is a breakdown of the three primary methods and their specific impact on the vehicle.

Logo Reset: Navigate to the Settings screen on the Pilot Panel and press and hold the Air logo at the top. This reboots the infotainment software only.
Soft/Hard Reset: Simultaneously hold the X button on the left side of the steering wheel, the microphone button on the right, and the brake pedal. You must continue to hold all three until all screens go completely blank. This process typically takes longer than expected. Like the Logo Reset, this primarily affects the infotainment system. Some feel this may erase service logs.
Sleep Reset: Lock the car and move all fobs and mobile keys far enough away to prevent the car from waking. A minimum of 20 minutes is typically required for the vehicle modules to fully power down, though leaving it overnight seems best.

So, for your issues with DreamDrive or non-infotainment items, the first two methods are generally ineffective as they do not power down the driving-related computer modules. In those cases, allowing the car to sleep overnight is the recommended first step.

Thank you Bobby, my Air had a nice snooze while I was at the office and DDPro with hands-free has worked fine since.
 
2025 AGT with DD Pro. On 2.8.17 and still waiting. Anyone that was on .17 get updated to .30 yet?

I just did this morning. Didn't notice any difference. All my cameras, blind spot monitors and surround view were all working today. But they are intermittent and I'm attributing the fact that they worked today to the weather and not the update. I will continue to monitor and see if they stop working next time we have several days of rain and/or high humidity

you could always disable that, maybe its off by default now

Upgraded to 2.8.30 last night. On my morning drive DDPro would not go into Hands-Free Drive Assist. Stayed in Drive Assist the whole time. If it happens on the way home tonight, I'll do a logo reset. Just curious if anyone else having this behavior. I have a 22 Air GT with CCV2 upgrade. Thanks!

I upgraded to 2.8.30 on Saturday, then started my drive from Buffalo back home to Detroit. For the first 100 miles or so I did not have Hands-Free, even though I know the road I was on is mapped for it. Pulled over for a nature break. When I restarted the car I had Hands-Free and everything has been hunky dory ever since (do people still say hunky dory?)

I had the same as noted in my post above. Getting out of the car for a restroom break totally cleared it up.

The talk of "how do I get this" reminds me of Tesla back in the early days... someone on the forum figured out that if you took your car to a Tesla service center and connected to the WIFI there, the latest version would automatically push. I remember driving up to a SC on a Sunday afternoon (it was closed) and there were 3 other cars there, doing the same thing. 15 mins later we all left with the latest version of the software and had something like Fart Mode to brag about to our friends. Ahhhh those were the days. (stops typing, wakes car on phone to see if a software update will push... nope... it will happen at Trader Joe's tomorrow...)

Just drove by Trader Joe's and 5 minutes later got the update. 😆

I had this issue with an update a few updates ago (.30 was fine). Logo reset and brake/mic/X reset did not work for me. Ultimately I had to take it ('22 Air) to the service center and recalibrate the sensors, which fixed the issue.

Hunky-dory is okey-dokey. :)
 
I installed 2.8.30 on my '22 Air GT. Noted far fewer instances of being warned during HFDA for minor glances away from road (radio, map, grabbing a cup).
