I’ve been stuck on 2.8.16 forever. Interesting what happened today. I intended to reset the telematic unit by unplugging the wire harness mention here before and plugging it back in. I couldn’t unplug it but did jiggle it around a little. Behold, not more than 30 seconds after juggling the wire 2.8.17 presented itself. It’s installing now.

I just did this morning. Didn't notice any difference. All my cameras, blind spot monitors and surround view were all working today. But they are intermittent and I'm attributing the fact that they worked today to the weather and not the update. I will continue to monitor and see if they stop working next time we have several days of rain and/or high humidity

Make sure to also check the opening/closing of your frunk.

Nice! I hope that 'reduction of unnecessary warnings' includes dialing back DDP 'eyes on' sensitivity to a safe but more tolerable level. That's the one improvement I requested via the new software issue reporting system, and I doubt I was alone.

That (and the drowsy warning) are the only safety features I turned off on mine. I couldn’t even check my rearview/side mirrors without a warning.

I will. But as I was reading the comments about frunk problems, I was thinking that they may not be related to the update. I've had all of them previously with my frunk (and continue to at some level). Mine got stuck opened a crack and wouldn't open or latch when I was 200 miles from home once. So that required a tow and service. More recently, but still before this update, I've had multiple instances of it not opening on the first few tries, having to open it using the button and manually combined, and having to physically assist it to latch when closing. So if this update did anything to affect the frunk opening and closing, I'm not sure if I could identify it as such. I've been told the metal bars that the latch grabs keep getting misaligned which probably doesn't have anything to do with a software update. But idk obviously.

I updated to 2.8.30 this weekend. Today while driving my passenger seat recliner all the way back. Luckily its a kid in the rear if its an adult it would be a issue. Any one had this with new update? This is the first time i have seem this behavior since i purchased the vehicle.

Just noticed the phone app now has a button to precondition battery. Never had that before

Just got 2.8.30 on my car. At long last, my 2.8.16 nightmare is finally over.

Oddly enough, the car installed 2.8.17 first. THEN asked if I wanted to update to 2.8.30. (Anyone else on 2.8.16, don't be surprised if you see this, too.)

Which means they could have let me install 2.8.17 all along. But all's well that ends well. I never had the issue 2.8.17 was meant to fix, anyway.

Mine was 2816 and went straight to 2830 last night. I didn't notice anything different this morning. No ddpro.

One thing I noticed is there is significantly less region intensity in standard setting on Swift and Sprint modes when compared to Smooth.
In Smooth/Standard regen, you still can one pedal drive if you plan out your slowing well in advance. In Swift or Sprint, you'll have to use the friction brakes.
The car feels noticeably quicker in reaction to the throttle pedal now too.

'22 AGT Dream Drive Pro with CCV2 upgrade. Got my .30 notice Friday and updated Friday night. Saturday all fine except no hands free, overnight sleep fixed all.

After 2.8.16 got horrible "mileage", 2.03 mi/kWh, 45% less than my lifetime average. 2.8.17 "fixed it" up to about 3.6 mi/kWh.
Oddly I happened to notice since last charge with only about 40 miles of NON highway driving I am currently at 4.29 mi/kWh.

If that becomes my norm I will really be a happy camper. I'll keep an eye and advise if a fluke or not.

If it has anything at all to do with a software fix, I would think it was much more likely correcting a miles/kWh calculation error than a real change to your vehicle's performance.

You are probably right on, when I look at my Range Spider, it doesn't seem to change when charged to 80%. Always seems to get me to Rochester north or Rocky Mt. south.

My 2025 Air GT DDPRO remains on 2.8.16 awaiting the notification for 2.8.30. Overall I must admit that everything has seemed rather "stable" apart from a few instances of Car Play disappearing for a few moments unless prompted by a Siri command or directions/miles not syncing across displays. I do receive a number of sensor alerts but I attribute those to the foggy mornings of Northern California that usually correct themselves over time. 2.8.17 never was presented to me so will see if 2.8.30 arrives in the near future. Greatly enjoying the comfort and safety for the Air GT on my long commute.

I’ve noticed a slight increase in range since the update to 2.8.30. I don’t think it’s simply a calculation fix because my state of charge is better after a routine trip. Example: a routine trip that drops me from 80 to 55% now drops me to 57%. The car wakes up more reliably as well. I’m wondering if this is the last update until 3.0 comes out or whether anything will happen regarding a version 2.9? Time will tell.

almost everything feels the same. the only difference I (think) noticed is that the camera video seems to be tuned to be a bit brighter in darker settings.
