I understand all that. The phone and car are on the same wifi network with strong connections. Forget the lock/unlock functions for the moment. The problem is that no functions (climate control, frunk, trunk, etc.) work from the app since the car won't wake up. If I want to open the trunk remotely while I'm walking to the car, I use the app. That functionality is now missing. I'm posting this just in case others have the same problem.

I agree too. Since then 5 minutes into every trip the driver protection system faults saying the camera is blocked. Which it isn’t and wasn’t before. Does anyone else get this bug?

Check your settings, the update may have turned off Hold.

Alas, the Bobby reset didn't work. Car won't wake from my wife's phone, either. Am messaging with CS now.

CS says no immediate fix available and to wait for future updates now that the software team has been made aware of the problem.

The automatic bright light feature is more consistent when sensing oncoming traffic. High beams were already bright so I can’t remember if it wasn’t this bright before. Either way, the headlights are functioning very well. I have no complaints about this update.

I'm wondering if for my particular issue it's more the updated Lucid app rather than the car's OS. All of my iOS devices are running the new 1.28 version of the app so I can't see whether the problems exists on 1.27. It would be interesting see if anyone running 1.27 is having the same problems I'm having re: the car not waking up from the app.

2.0.33-35 were the sweet spot for our car in which every feature then available seemed to work reliably. Everything before and since has been a mess of one kind or another.

Same! 2.033-35 were the salad days for my car.

After I updated the right screen up top showed a message "tablet shutting down" or tablet something. First time I've seen that. Pilot panels was blank too. Eventually it restarted on it's own almost like a reboot but just those 2 screens. All others were fine.

Interesting to hear all the camera issues. Ironically, my cameras are snappier than they have been since the first iterations of 2.x. Only been a day, but better than 2.0.47 for now!

There will never be an auto update. Updates lock the vehicle and any occupants inside (or outside), so they are always triggered manually, for safety reasons, whether from the phone or the car.

Update once you receive it. If you fall too far behind, it will not be easy to catch up.

It is tested both internally and by a small list of “early” receivers, from what I understand.

Doesn’t mean they’re “bugless,” but as you’ll need to update to the “buggy” version before the fixed version anyway, and the future updates don’t arrive instantly, just install them when you get them.

I did not get update yet. As others mentioned it may take 2 days. I wonder if they will delay the rollout to pure and touring a bit to test DE and GT first.

Yes, I’m getting the same indication that the driver protection system camera is blocked. Started happening perhaps one out of every three drives following the previous OTA update before 2.0.48, usually about 5 minutes after the start of the drive.
