I also think not being able to upvote/favorite or add to playlist via the Lucid Tidal app is a flaw because listening while driving defeats the purpose if I can't build my music playlist

I’m not going to argue with that but I’m not sure that’s a safe task while driving.
I WOULD like to see a chosen playlist list of songs before just playing the first track and maybe the option to start shuffled (this may be an option that I have not found) both of which are easily done in the Tidal app or BLUOS devices.

You guys keep talking about Tidal. Do I want this? I have a pixel 5 phone. I do not know what all those little pictures do, except for the pocket casts and the Lucid app (which I have been forced to learn). Will the Tidal app scare me?

Also it seems we have a few audio geeks here.... what again is the best fidelity connection and source for music? I thought I read somewhere that borski or the dude advocate USB stick ? Looks like I have to open an account just to read about the service. Is it worth premium price for that level of fidelity in our cars ? and one more thing ... is there a way I can enjoy my CD collection thru Lucid audio system? Dammit I just now realzed I should have searched for a thread on Lucid audio. Sorry.

Error message on display screen making it so I cant see the speedometer. no way to make it go away.

Every update seems to introduce a new bug as it fixes others.

So every time I have a divergent thought I have to scroll back up to the top of the page to remember where I am. That works for folk who have a single phrase of a thought. My mind does not work that way. I'm deep into hours of editing to get my thought down to a line or two, and by then, since I can't see the header from down here .... I'm likely way off the thread, which pains the moderators, and frustrates those who are looking for info.

I guess I could copypasta the header at the beginning of my comments so I don't forget ...oops ... don't click on the header folks: disaster.

Standard answer is to call / text / email customer care. They can tell you what version your car is on and push 2.0.47 if you are currently at 2.0.36. Of course we're going to say try all the resets whilst you wait. Some folk have reported sketchyness with the 2.0.35 to 2.0.36 update. What does your car show as current ?

Also when I get a software update on my laptop it almost always asks me to reboot to install. I don't see anything wrong with doing this after a car software update.

My cockpit panel reverse camera view stopped working after the .47 update; I'll check again tomorrow. Surround cam view on the pilot panel works fine.

Funny. Mine is the opposite. Backup works but not 360 surround view on pilot panel..

47 has dramatically improved the stability of various features (Alexa, backup cameras, etc).

I was driving yesterday and oh boy, this car is soooo good when everything's just working.

Cold night, seat massage going, seat heaters on, subtle but classy lighting, SiriusXM playing (flawlessly), and a perfectly comfortable ride. *chef's kiss*

Really? My front\rear camera view still fails to show up quickly. I see the "unavailable" 95% of the time since about 4 updates ago. I'm basically out of the spot before the cameras engages. I'm starting to get a little frustrated now as they worked flawlessly in the early 2.0 days and now just seems to progressively get worse as each update comes along. The cameras are probably my only real gripe at the moment.

I booted up my car for the second time post updates and the software failed to leave the landing dashboard screens for the cameras. Had to manually select the cameras. Also, bootup lag on the camera feeds is still 100% a thing.

Can’t use a USB stick yet. Best audio quality, for now, is Tidal HiFi Plus playing Dolby Atmos tracks. If you sign up for Tidal (you should have a 3 month free coupon from Lucid; if you don’t, call them) you can search for tracks that are encoded in Dolby Atmos.

When you do this, ensure in the car’s settings for Tidal that it is set to “HiFi”
