I never rebooted... on a few subsequent drives the center screen is there.. but it's all a bit sloppy. No audio issues or anything else reported. Just the missing center screen a couple of times, then it 'self healed'. At least so far.

Took about a 20 mile round trip... when the car turned on the center screen was blank.. it came on about 5 seconds later... made my first stop and then started car again after an errand... center screen blank again..shifted to reverse and it was still blank. Came in over night. 15 minute estimate for install was correct. Will drive later this AM to check how robust it is.

I have a 2023 GT I bought used from Lucid. I've seen a couple of glitches in 5k miles. One time Navigation just went south.. reboot of Entertainment/Info software fixed it, and it hasn't returned. Really, it's about as reliable as my ex Model S from Tesla, that every so often needed a reboot...

I've had the update for several days but lately seeing a lot of oddities. Not sure if it's 2.8.9. Audio doesn't stay with my last selection. Get out of car, get back on, something else is playing. Moves from my USB selection to Tidal, from Sirius XM to Tune In. Never happened before this update...

FWIW I was having a variety of issues with my Air GT and called customer service.. with me on the phone in the car, first she did a quick diagnostics.. then she walked me through the steering wheel reset (x button, mic button, brake button) and it worked fine... they did not raise any warnings...

I certainly had a weird one.. might be 2.8.9 or something else. My car is a 2023 Air GT, low mileage bought from Lucid. It's been a great, trouble free car for more than 2 months. Today, leaving the house I noticed the nav map froze. Then I noticed I could not get any of the streaming stations...

18 mile drive in the city. No issues. Did notice the car had an easier time finding parking spaces for auto-park. In the past it wuld drive past perfectly good options. It also slowed forn for and avoided a guy on a bicycle. Have not seen that before. Coincidence? Could be. Certainly no negatives.

Went smoother than 2.8.7 which took more than 2 hours to update. 2.8.9 was 37 minutes. I had no issues with 2.8.7 on my 2023 AGT with DDPro, but may have missed something. With this update out of the way I'm hoping for a feature update sometime soon.

No question. I’ve managed multi-million dollar software projects. Transparency is best. People have a right to know what Lucid is doing to their cars. And if they know they can provide instant feedback. I know there is a school of thought that preaches “admit nothing”. That’s the lawyers...

Saw this for the first time. At 11PM car send a message through the iOS app that "passive unlock has been disabled". "Check for details". There were no details in the app. I was asleep and not near the car, which was in the garage. Seems awfully strange.

Drove about 40 miles on new update. Didn't see anything better or worse, altho I think there is a slight improvement in unlocking and locking behavior. Seems to unlock from slightly further distance and lock more quickly as I walk away.

No worries. My GT is a used 2023 I got from Lucid... great shape and saved thousands. It could be it needs the chip update, which I have scheduled, but they are waiting for new chips to arrive. Perhaps that would have speeded up the install. I have DDPro, so the update was longer anyway, but it...

That's interesting and helpful. Then I'm still trying to figure out why my install took so long.

Happy ending to the above story... it started to speed up and finished after 2:15. Whew! Still, seemed to be a really slow update. Live and learn.

New owner here.. (6 weeks) Are these updates sometimes extra slow? Have good WiFi in the garage, but after almost 2 hours I'm at 14%. Did 2 other updates that were pretty quick. Glad I don't have to drive anywhere today. The update notice said 1:49 update time.

One should remember that it took Tesla 17 years to make a profit. Lucid's Mid East benefactors seem to be in for the long haul and are building a plant there. I think the cars are great (software cleanup needed, but progress is being made). I can't be positive they will make it, but I'l like to...

It's encouraging to see, as I was worried all their software resources were going into the Gravity.
