    Still waiting for GT

I can tell you that the Lucid Air GT is a better car than the MS Plaid.

    Personal Review

I figured it out, fellas. It is the right-side steering wheel button/bar. The button the you hit to answer the phone. To hang up, you HOLD IT DOWN LONGER. It’s dumb that there’s no icon or screen recognition to confirm you’ve hung up, though.

    Lucid start to drive time

This is a really great point! Old dogs, new trick: we will all learn to plug in the phone, put on sunglasses etc. in the seconds we are required to wait for the car to allow us to drive it.

    Lucid start to drive time

I believe Lucid continues to work on a remedy for the delay so that the Air is comparable to Tesla boot times. I have had a technician at my house working on my DE twice (once for tire bulge, once for slow wake times) and he noted that the engineers are aware of owner dissatisfaction with wake...

    Lucid start to drive time

Please next time you use your ICE, just pay attention to the time from opening the door until putting the car in reverse. I’m not talking about intentionally sitting there for some specified time, I’m talking about the natural “delays” - get in, sit down, close door, put on seat belt, hit start...

    Lucid start to drive time

I agree with Bob…you get used to it. With the caveat that some people want to run out and jump in the car and go. Tesla is good for that. Ironically, ICE cars are not, as you have to push a start button to fire up the engine and let the engine settle down, which probably takes about as long as...

    Software question

After 750 miles in my DE, I am on the verge of agreeing with this. However, I will point out that the software is improving, albeit slowly and incrementally. We are only a few months and a few hundred cars into production (I have DE#305). Boot times have improved. You get used to the way it...

    Cant pull the trigger

With that EA location at 279 miles, you are safe on range - although I would recommend filling to the top before you leave on that trip. New S class is nice, though….

Is there a way to open the frunk from the outside....

Thank you! I’m an idiot. Now if they could only add “Hey Siri, wake up the Lucid”…

    Honestly, what do you miss?

Drive my old Model S for a couple of days while the Lucid was awaiting a service appointment. Here’s why I discovered I miss about it: 1) ease of throwing stuff into the hatchback 2) driving with rear camera “always on” 3) Tesla’s brake hold design, that holds permanently once you push the...

    “Sleep”… “Waking up” with 1.2.1

Update: My car will not recognize a mobile key at all. I unpaired the key fob and mobile key per suggestions here (and per Lucid CS, so you guys were all correct). BUT, when trying to re-pair the mobile key, the car just kept sending this error. Tried about 36 times. 😊 The Denver service...

DE-R #490 found it's home today! Clock help

Congratulations and welcome! You’re about to take a ride on the DE rollercoaster…first thrilled, terrified, then elated, then befuddled, then a little angry, then relieved, then comforted, and finally just utterly satisfied. Enjoy each ride and fall on this new ownership ride!

Is there a way to open the frunk from the outside....

Can you walk me through how to set this up to operate through my Apple Watch (or phone) to work with Siri? Does it also operate remote climate and unlock? That would be very useful.

12 Miles of Battery to Warm Up the Car??

38 Degrees in Denver tonight. Working late with car down in the parking garage. Remotely warmed up the car from 42 degrees inside to 78 degrees. This caused the battery to go from 312 miles to 300 miles. That seems rather dramatic to me. The Model S would lose almost no miles at all to...
