Thanks for the info. I remember your original post and am glad you figured out what the cause was. This is definitely a motor noise, and so I thought I’d put it out there to see if anyone else had the same experience.
Sadly with regards to the second point, you come across people like my barber who just leased his first EV, a Model Y. When I mentioned about charging above 80% and the effect on battery life, his response was “I’m leasing for three years, why should I care about battery life”.
Add me to the list of those who love their Air! It's one of the most fun to drive luxury sedans I've ever had, and it never ceases to make me smile when I'm on the road.
Like others, the software keeps improving, and I hope this continues. If you're on the fence, buy one! You won't regret...
Please know that you guys are much appreciated. I for one, have learned more about my AGT on here than on any other car forum I’ve been on in the past. Thanks for monitoring and handling all that you do.
Enjoy it for what it is, a car. That said, it’s a damn nice car and one of the best driving, and most fun cars, I’ve ever owned. Don’t treat it like a fragile heirloom, but like something you want to enjoy and experience. Have fun! I am…..😁
I used Plaid to pay through USAA checking account. The process was very easy, and once I got the confirmation from Lucid that all was good, I changed the password on my account. The monies did not actually leave the account for 2-3 days.
Just got an email back from Chris at the Costa Mesa service confirming there is currently no way to power the car down. Oh well...........at least I figured out to turn off the A/C and that pretty much shut all the fans down.
Is there a way to power the car down? The window tint guy is here and the car is humming along with all doors open for over 30 mins. Is there a way to power the car off when it's parked and you're working on it? Vacuuming, cleaning, etc?
