    BMW i7 Electric

Wow, nonfunctional huge grill, only 300 mile range, and more digital screens everywhere. Along with the MB EQS, Lucid really has nothing to worry about.

    Worried, I don’t have a garage available

If you do a partial PPF to protect the front end from road rash, do you cover it all the way to the windshield or essentially just the front bumper?

    Mercedes EQS SUV

Even though I’ve had two Mercedes GLS SUVs, I think I’ll be happy with a Lucid Touring for the year or two until the Gravity is available.

    Worried, I don’t have a garage available

My two car garage is full of junk (with no help from my OfferUp collecting spouse) with no space to park any cars. So my Lucid will be parked in front, I’m going to feel bad that it’s getting baked in Florida sun every day. Heck, Lucid may just come and take it back and say you don’t deserve it!

    Mercedes EQS SUV

I agree, this is going to be near 300 miles or less.

    Mercedes EQS SUV

Released today, just looks OK to me, not much different than the '21 GLS450 I have now. Range is stated as up to 410miles (660KM) but I'd expect it to be 350 or less in the real world. Interior is really overwrought in my view, as in the EQS sedan. Pricing l imagine will be about $110K for the...

    #490 is here

Wow, very impressive, you might have to consider that Lucid was seriously monitoring this forum and using our feedback as a way to improve their product and customer service...very cool.

    Why bother with Lucid?

I think it's a valid point, as the competition increases with other luxury EVs, the things that are missing in the Lucid Air do tend become increasingly disappointing. For me, the lack of blue exterior color choice as well as multiple software related deficiencies (e.g., CarPlay, sentry mode...

    Big Basin interior

Derick Jenkins of Lucid Design mentions it in a AGT drive video. He says it’s a tan or taupe color, but I don’t know what happened to the option.

    Lucid Production Video

Easy to do in Florida where I’m at. Well OK, at least the flat and weather part is easy.

    To Order or Cancel?

I think a more fair comparison would be the Model S LR to the Touring. Add typical options for the Model S and the Touring (including FSD and Dream Drive Pro) and the Tesla is at 115K while the Lucid is at about 111K (and 104K after possible tax credit). For me, the exterior and especially the...

Yes, I think it's because they need to build out more the paint area.

    stiff steering

I’ve driven both, and they are very different cars with very different perspectives on what an electric vehicle should be. The Mercedes is I think a transition for those who are used to traditional luxury and so it’s not rocking the boat so to speak. As for cost, with dealer markup, the Lucid...
