Gravity accessories slowly appearing

You know what, I shouldn’t have spoken with a definitive tone. I think the 5 row could also have these cutouts. I’ll see if I can speak to a few people and get a definitive answer, but I’m unable to find any pictures of a vehicle without these cutouts.

Sorry if I mislead you. Maybe @HC_79 knows?
If you go by what it shows when you design a Gravity on the Lucid site the 5 seat configuration doesn't have them where the 7 definitely does. But it's a render and maybe it changed in production?

Edit: I just realized the mats on the site specifically say they're for the 3 row.

It will have cutouts for the third row, pictured here. So it depends on your definition of work I suppose.

As someone who vacuums car carpet at least once a week, this has been the subject of several nightmares since first seeing it in the configurator.

Has anyone seen crossbars/luggage bars for Gravity in the Lucid shop? I see them for the Air but not even a “coming soon” for Gravity. I’d really like them more than I’d like/need the front trunk cushion…but that’s just me, of course…

Does anyone know if these will work if you didn’t get the third row? I don’t see one that says anything for just the two rows so I’m assuming so… but you know what they say about assuming.
I just ordered them and the compartment accessory for the Frunk yesterday. My Gravity should be here Wednesday, so I'll post up when the mats get in and I try them out.

Based on the Gravity frunk seat being shown as "coming soon" and limited availability of the Lucid Connected Home Charging System (LCHCS) in the past with the CCS version, I ordered the LCHCS (NACS version) this morning. My GGT is scheduled to be through the production line within the next two months and with other GGTs and GDEs finished production now or those in the coming months, I didn't want to take the chance of the LCHCS being out of stock as sometimes happened with the CCS version. When I select the Gravity Sunshade Set, currently the option to "Add to Bag" isn't available. Perhaps it's a temporary system glitch.

I may be overreacting, but I prefer to be proactive rather than reactive.

The Lucid Store FAQ about shipping mentions "your selected shipping method". See the image below.
However, during my ordering process the option to select a shipping method didn't appear.
My shipping experiences with FedEx haven't been that good and based upon forum posts, I'm not alone, so I'd prefer to not use FedEx.

I called Customer Care to inquire and the rep stated he could add a note to my order to ship with UPS.
He said he would follow up with me tomorrow.
Going back to the FAQ; "same day" shipping if ordered before 1PM CST. I ordered at 8AM CST.
When the rep started saying he would contact someone on the west coast I said nevermind, cancel the request to use UPS.
Just ship the item with FedEx (which he stated Lucid uses; also confirmed on this forum).

Has anyone had success with using UPS or another carrier other than FedEx?

I've used both, extensively. I don't consider one to be clearly superior to the other in all circumstances. They both go through periods of delays and poor service, and they both seem to have locales where they're particularly unreliable. My experience with individual employees is that they all seem to be nice, and trying to do a good job. When they fail to accomplish that, it typically seems to be a case of the company placing impossible demands upon them.

For the sake of clarity; you've used UPS or another carrier other than FedEx when placing an order on the Lucid store?

I can't tell if your response is with Lucid store items or use in general.

My initial question didn't specify using a carrier with Lucid store items, but I'm hoping the context of my post implied that. If not, that was my intent.

Sorry, I just meant in general. I ship and receive a lot of things for work.

Thanks for the clarification.

In general with delivery carriers, yes, I totally agree with your previous statement. The acronym YMMV definitely applies with them. For my wife and I, FedEx has only been good at delivering our items to nearby homes. Could be worse; at least they got close to our home.

I'm hoping to find out if and how I can use a carrier other than FedEx with future orders from the Lucid store.

Our Gravity DE was delivered with the frunk seat. We have already installed the canopy sunshades, and yesterday we received the collapsible frunk storage bins, both items that we purchased from the online accessory shop.

All three items seem to be of very good quality. The frunk seat folds into a flat package with handy carrying handles. The sunshades go in easily, fit well, and block a lot of sunlight while retaining some outward visibility. The storage bins have fold down bottoms that nicely rigidify them when in use.

We're looking forward to seeing the bento boxes for the center console when they become available (and are a little perplexed they're not yet so).

I think you have 1 of 5 frunk seats. Surprised they are so back ordered given the amount of time Lucid had to procure them after Dec.

Yeah, not sure why the hold up or issues with getting the frunk seats out...I'd buy mine today if it was available. And that all the DE owners still don't have them yet...

Sort of ironic, since we'll probably never use it. It's quite nice and surprisingly comfortable, but it's bulky and heavy, so we've already stored it in the garage.

Especially since they so heavily hyped it in every photo, video, and interview.

Made by same manufacturer as the HUD. Supply chain issues. Though it feels like something you could get off Etsy… 🤷

Oh; weird -- I thought all the DEs were getting them on delivery.

Early press photos showed the frunk seat with coordinating upholstery to the interior -- Tahoe accent on the top cushion. Mine is just black, but it does have "Dream Edition" badging. O1H I think the leather would be nice, OTOH this is probably more durable...

Ours is gray, matching the frunk liner. I don’t remember seeing any Dream badging.

Fwiw, the seats are surprisingly comfortable. Go find a cliff somewhere and sit on them. Bring a cup of coffee.
