I did . I have an appointment this coming Wednesday to drop off the car . I mentioned to them the high probability this issue is software related but I got the standard answer: will report to the team

So I’ve been receiving (stability control and regen braking unavailable) warnings for very short periods of time, especially when driving over potholes or uneven surfaces, then another alert saying (stability control and regen braking restored). Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes. I don't think this is new behavior, just a more active warning. To let ABS do its job, regen is temporarily disabled when the car detects a bit of wheel spin / loss of traction.

Let us know how it goes. It would be nice if we could get an OTA Patch to fix what I assume is a bug with 2.6.16. If not, I will have to make an appointment as well.

Right, it just feels more frequent/sensitive than before the 2.6.16 update

Correct. This came up a few times so they decided to actually throw warnings about it. Basically, regen is the enemy of traction when there is slip, and the TCS can’t keep up, unless you’re in a 2025+ Pure RWD, Sapphire, or Gravity.

It’s super short though, and only during the slip. But because losing regen can feel jarring, they warn about it now.

DDP seemed much smoother for the short time I had it on. Lane change seemed very smooth. Decided to call Customer Support before I left the airport. She asked if I did the hard reboot. Yes I did. She then sent a message to the Scottsdale SC and I decided to heard there since I was very close. I actually got to the SC before the Service Request came in. I talked to them about the issue. They have not seen or heard anything yet. They insisted I leave car just make sure I didn’t get stranded. Very accommodating as usual. I have a loaner and they will be in touch with me most likely tomorrow. Stay tuned….

Here’s the update. It appears that the warning had absolutely nothing to do with the software update. Just a pure coincidence. It was a coolant 5 Port Valve that failed. Apparently not common. Luci is back in my garage. Great job all around at the Scottsdale SC!
 
FWIW, I first noticed the “stability control and regen braking restored” maybe a couple updates ago — not sure if anyone else noticed that also.

I just got this same error on my ‘22 GT after upgrading as well. Guess I’ll try the reset and see what happens. FWIW, it didn’t show up until I charged the car after the update.

It is hardware and cannot be updated by software.

I thought 2024+ Pure RWDs have the sapphire TCS that was developed in-house. Is that wrong?
 
I took my car (2023 AWD Pure) for its first real drive since the update, and I have to say, WOW. This is a quality-of-life update in the best sense of the phrase.
- The low-speed front motor whine is basically gone (in Smooth, which is 99% of my driving)
- The efficiency seems a touch better but still need more data
- The steering feel is a little lighter, almost Pure RWD-like (based on my recollection of test driving that car), although the play seems to have increased just a little bit (the only minor downside so far)
I agree with other posters that all of the above means that Lucid has probably increased the threshold for when the front motor is called for duty. Fine by me.

The CarPlay turn by turn street directions on right of the instrument cluster display is a welcome fix. The regen/power dial also feels more polished.

First time (and only time so far since 2.6.16) car would not go into Drive. Got back in the car after shopping, pushed the gear stalk, nothing. Tried, drive, reverse, back and forth for maybe 20 seconds (no warnings). Opened drivers door and then immediately closed it (no indication it was not closed properly). Tried a few more times then all of a sudden, it worked and went into drive. Wife was in the car so I did not do any troubleshooting, just wanted to get on the road. If it happens again, will take a more methodical approach.

Not going to report this as it's the first/only time, but In case Lucid is watching, sequence of events as shown from Home Assistant logs:

10:45:20 front left door opened
10:45:27 front left door closed
...This is where I tried to put it in reverse, then back and forth...
10:45:55 front left door was opened
10:46:02 power state changed to Drive
10:46:02 gear position changed to reverse
10:46:02 front left door closed
10:46:09 door locks was locked

ONLY thing I did a bit differently this time (as opposed to pretty much all other times) was use the app to open the trunk when I was 20 feet from the car (with grocery bags in hands). Wild ass guess, but maybe this affected it somehow (logs show trunk opened 10:44:59; closed 10:45:20)
 
This is so interesting seeing how an OTA has such varied and unpredictable bugs. It makes me appreciate how complicated this software is.

I wouldn’t give Kudos to lucid when you have an update that makes cars un drivable! I am happy for you not having any issues with this update ( at least for now) , but lots of us can’t drive the stupid car !🤬
 
I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that every strange issue is due to software bugs in 2.6.16.
