New Real Lucid Facebook Group

Hi folks, I love the Lucid Owners Forum and it's my main source of Lucid info. But for those who use Facebook Groups as their first stop, I started a new Group called "The Real Lucid Owners Club".

Description: Other Lucid Facebook Groups are basically little more than advertisements trying to either promote Lucid stock or generate referral points. Say anything negative (i.e., honest) about Lucid and you are banned. This group is for the good, the bad, and the ugly of Lucid. Not for haters, but definitely for people who want to provide honest feedback to Lucid and each other. Please tell your Lucid owning friends!

Thanks HC! In the end, I decided to close the group. My message below:

Folks! My original motivation for starting this Group was because - unfortunately - the popular [Facebook] Lucid Owners Club has become over-focused on congratulating and complimenting Lucid, seemingly to boost the stock. I was a Top Contributor there and was recently censored for a less-than-fawning comment about former CEO Peter Rawlinson, who was recently terminated (for good reason, in my opinion). I am definitely not a 'hater' but I want a Group where people can have honest discussions, or at least express honest opinions.

Having said that, I have come to the conclusion that starting yet another Facebook Lucid Group is probably not what the market needs. Here are two good choices:

• • If you want to stay in the Facebook ecosystem, check out the Lucid Owners Club (Owners Only). As the name says, it is supposed to be for owners only, so apologies to those who don't qualify (yet). https://www.facebook.com/groups/2101363626892264/
  • Outside of Facebook, the best Lucid content comes from the Lucid Owners Forum. Super deep discussions on almost any topic Lucid. https://lucidowners.com/
