from what i heard the stickers even if you just applied, expire in a few months? Doesn't seem worth the effort. You can just drive in the COV fast-track lanes without the stickers as long as you set the fasttrak flex to 2 or 3.
They expire in September 2025, so you still get 18 months from using them. Not all of the HOV lanes have fasttrak enabled. The ones I used to use on I5 don't.
Sticker seems so dumb to me in this time and age. Just another unnecessary red tape process- apart from messing with clean look and finish of the cars. It’s not like someone could fake electric cars.
It’s been excellent for me, whether it looks bad or not. Saves me about a half an hour each morning. Gonna regret when the program ends!
Driving without the sticker and saving time is even more excellent!
Sorry Bobby - I wasn’t talking about car owners but the govt regulation. They could automate it easily with AI but won’t !!
We already have fastrack devices --- they could automate with those!
