Do you think being a moderator helped you along with this. You are the first 2022 reservation I've seen with a confirmation (if so, kudos for helping the boards and what a nice prize for it!)

Just got an email from my SA to confirm my Touring order (11-15-21 reservation) and of course the website isn’t loading at the moment. Will have to try later.

Oooh, that means that I should expect mine too.

Nah. I don’t think that had anything to do with it. I think by the end of today / tomorrow, everyone with an original res date of Feb 2022 or before will be invited. The emails will come.

They are doing 1,000 per week, and last week got them up to June 2021. I figured either this week or next they would get to me, depending on how fast the curve of increase in reservations was between June and Feb. Evidently, it wasn’t that fast.

At this rate, they should get to all Touring res holders in another week or two.

As I’ve said before, there just aren’t that many of us.

Yeah, the footer becomes "invisible" afterawhile. But, it is also like wearing your "I Voted" sticker in this case! A badge of honor. Hope you end up loving the car and have an amazing time with it (when it arrives).

Oh, and I can report I had no issues today uploading my driver’s license. So either they fixed that bug, or whatever caused it for some folks didn’t apply to me.

3 weeks at 1000 per week implies only 3k to 4k reservations for AT. That is a shockingly low number. They may probably merge AT on the high end with a lower end GT and merge the lower end AT with higher end Pure if this is the case.

Yep. 4k was my estimate. There were somewhere around 6-7k GTs, so Touring had to be less than that.

Which means there must be more than 20k Pures in the backlog.

And for those who have been asking, this confirms that ordering a Touring with Stealth will still qualify you for your OG pricing on everything else, as long as you did your reservation before the OG pricing deadline. Thanks!

I've held off on the whole DD vs DDPro debate because this is the delivery thread, but I did want to add my perspective as I recently found a good reason that made me comfortable committing to DDPro that may help others.

I was watching a review of the new EQS SUV which comes standard with rear wheel steering. The rear wheel steering provides 4.5 degrees of turn as standard. You can get 10 degrees of rear wheel turn, but, and here's the rub, you have to subscribe, pay an annual fee for that "extra" turning ability.

The car industry and business model is rapidly shifting and I can foresee a time not too far from now where looking back, being able to pay $9/10k for a full suite of high tech features that you get to keep and which are an asset that can be sold with your vehicle could be seen as a bargain. Make no mistake, the major manufacturers are testing the waters of feature subscription with non-critical functions, but we are definitely heading that way, and who knows what that will mean for resale values of vehicles if the second owner needs to plan for $1k a year to make the car do all the things it can do.

On the topic of delivery, I too have heard from my DA that there is a decent chance of getting a vehicle before the end of the year (I chose the options outlined in the fast track email).

Great to see more folks getting designs finalized. Exciting times!

Try logging into the Lucid website. Go to your Designs & Orders page, and see if the Finalize button appears. My guess is it will be there.
