Lucid Air Dream
Just received an update that its available and I'm downloading now. Anyone else running this version? I saw 1.0.7 was how most vehicles are being delivered.
 
I just received the update and am also downloading now. The release notes mentioned only changes to parking brake behavior. My friend in Orlando said his car's adaptive cruise control was activated on Sunday. Was that a different update? If so, has anyone else received it?

Have him check his version number. I'm sure they have a settings menu with firmware info somewhere.
 
Just finished the update. Main setting menu still reflects running version 1.0.7, but the release notes go all the way to 1.0.8. I updated through my phone app and not the car pilot. Now wondering if the update went through or if the setting screen is incorrectly reflecting the version.

What I was told through the first few updates was to so it through the pilot screen. If you initiated it on your phone and it doesn't show up, just wait until tomorrow and do it through your pilot panel. If it's not updated, the system will push it again.
 
Thanks @hydbob, I figured with all the ongoing issues there might be some problem between app and vehicle.

It wasn’t obvious to me how regular cruise control would work with the available buttons on the steering wheel. Set, Resume, Cancel, (Faster, Slower are already there). When I called Lucid, they mentioned the “following someone” feature. I asked about it without involving another car. He said he would check. When I emailed him to follow up, his response was the following:

Hello Richard,

We will be sure to give you an in-depth presentation of DreamDrive controls on your Lucid Air Pure when it becomes available in the end of next year.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Looking forward to working with you soon!

Was it a UI design omission?

When what becomes available at the end of next year, the Air Pure or the Dream Drive on the Air Pure? I'm assuming this was an email sent last year (2021) and that the Pure is not delayed an entire year.
 
My DE updated to 1.0.8 and I don't see any new functionality, (e.g., no cruise control).

This last one only changed the parking brake
 
Anyone else seeing this? Jon posted below pic about Adaptive Cruise being enabled!

How do you engage it? Button on the left side of steering wheel?
 
Spoke with Jon, that is a loaner he received when they took his car in to replace a module. Looks like the Costa Mesa location was able to update their pre-production and get signed off to be a loaner vehicle. Good news!
 
so cruise control doesn’t work if no one is ahead of you?:oops:
