Guys, if you have referral points, cancel your order and re-order using points.
Those other manufacturers promised the adapters at the time of sale because they were promising NACS charging as a feature. And as part of that promise they were saying they would have good charging speeds.Maybe not blankety send them, but given Lucid is high end, and other manufacturers have sent out free adaptors, I think they could have made it free on request. It would have been a nice node to their early customers. An adaptor for us early adaptors.
Tweet him ask. He's pretty responsive at least to me.Perhaps Zak can advise on the status of V2H?
Yes, a bunch of us have received ours.My NACS adapter came today. Anyone else get theirs?
Just got mine from the mailroom. My NACS adapter came today. Anyone else get theirs?
Equipments do break sometimes.Hey, all.
Little late in this adopter game.
Is there a particular difference between the Lucid's NACS to CCS1 Adapter VS other 3rd party products out there? (ex. Lectron, Autodecor, etc adopters with 500 Amps / 1,000V support)
Spec wise, it seems exactly identical, but price wise, 3rd party products are $40 ~ $100 cheaper.

When your car is damaged or the adapter melts, Lucid may not cover the warranty due to using a non-Lucid adapter.
In my opinion, the price difference is because of the accountability.
I highly recommend the A2Z adapter, but it isn't the cheapest. Cheaper is not better in this case. Either use the Lucid provided one, or the A2Z one. Lectron is probably OK but they have had quality issues on the past. A2Z fully stands behind their products.Hey, all.

Hmm.. never thought about that scenario/case before....Equipments do break sometimes.

The Lectron is a good adapter, you will have no issues with it. I agree with @Professor Y Cars that you will likely not need to use a Tesla charger for this route.I bought my Air in May and I am planning my first road trip from San Diego to Prescott, AZ, then to Show Low, AZ, then to Globe, AZ then home. After researching the EA charging along the route I decided that I should get a NACS-to-CCS Adapter to get access to the Tesla network in a pinch. I did a lot of research, primarily watching the State of Charge videos on youtube. I wanted to have the safest so I ended up buying a Lectron Vortex Plus last week that has the latest safety certifications. Today I am watching his latest video he says that Tesla says that the only adapters you can use is one provided by Tesla or your manufacturer.
Given that the Lucid NACS-to-CCS Adapter does not claim to be UL-2252 certified, and have been on sale since before the certification even existed, it seems to me that Lectron is safer than the Lucid brand. Should I be worried about this?
I have encountered this a couple of times. It is not normal and should not be needed for plug and charge. I believe the issue is caused by a back end communication issue on the Tesla SC side. Another example where Tesla SCs are not as good as many people suggest.Have had my Gravity almost a year now. First EV and new to DCFC. I do 95% of my charging at home and have only used DCFC on a couple longer road trips using primarily Tesla superchargers. I have Tesla charger authorized in my car but every time I plug in to a Tesla SC, I get a “An additional step is required” message and have to go into the Lucid app and enter the stall number that I am plugged in to. It then starts charging and bills through my Lucid account (no requirement to use Tesla app). It is my understanding that TRUE Plug and Charge should not require this extra step of entering stall number on the Lucid app.
I called Lucid customer service and they stated that not requiring to enter stall number was only for V3 and V4 SCs. I have subsequently checked and varified that all of the SCs that I charged at were indeed V3 or V4 SCs. Any idea on what I need to do to get this working right (other than calling back to Lucid CS and asking for a more knowledgeable rep as the guy I talked to seemed to not have a clue.)
