3.0 on Air

Ooops! Added the pics but not the text! Loving the OTA, but CarPlay does not display any artwork? Spotify at least has a list of stations… or am I missing something?
If you pull up CarPlay with whatever app is playing (like Apple Music) it will show you the artwork. But no, it won’t show it in the media view for you while CarPlay is playing media.

(This part isn’t new in the update, and has always been this way, iirc)

Since the update, my curb rash alert doesn’t work anymore. (The distance to the curb isn’t showing up)

Hard reset didn’t help.

Anyone else having this issue?

Dumb but necessary questions: are you outdoors and in daytime / good lighting?

Thank you Borski! I’ll play around some more.

Yup! I thought SSPro was great before the fact that it sounds even better blows my mind. The max volume is also louder.

All the comments about audio sounding so much better - is that only for SS Pro or the standard system as well?
I was surprised to find that Surreal Sound standard has better sound to my ears. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I found the difference to be notable.

Me too. Bass is notably better, as well as overall spacial clarity. Limited data points so far, but definitely noticeable.

I dont think mine ever works and I'm updated now and still says not available

Got the update alert today, installed in 33 minutes. Not much to add but just to confirm what has been said before. 25 Touring and the software operation is just a notch smoother in almost every way. As mentioned by others, probably the camera frame rates and multi-tasking feature are the highlights.

I’m one who used to have the trip screen on the Pilot panel but am realizing that was mostly because it was difficult to have anything else. So far enjoying the Lucid Nav/Map on the Pilot panel below with Home or Music in the Right Cockpit Screen.

My 2023 Air got update yesterday and I love it so far.
Pros I felt so far,
1. Automatic lock/unlock works much quicker.
2. New navigation
3. Better sound with SSP
4. Wider android auto screen. i think I would just use factory nav from now tho.
5. Blind spot camera flickering is gone. It is not flickering anymore!
6. Loading profile linked seat position much better.
Didn't have a chance to test hands free driving yet.

Cons
1. Have to fully stop to use homelink. This is kind of annoying.
2. Navigation resets to 2D mode so I need to switch it back to 3D almost everytime.

Good job Lucid!
Full self driving for Air too please. Don't abandon us. I Still have hope.

Anyone else notice that the front camera view is different in UX3? It looks more “flat” and less wide angle and you see more of the bumper/trim. Wish I got before/after pics. It’s a welcome improvement.

Nobody's saying that the UX upgrade changes the ADAS hardware, but keep in mind that OTA software updates don't only affect the behavior of the infotainment system; they affect the ADAS system as well. I'm not a software guy either, but I'm well aware that improvements to the Air's Dream Drive over the years have been delivered via OTA updates. I'm not saying that this particular UX 3.0 OTA update provides any improvements to Dream Drive, but it's flat out wrong to assume that it's not possible for an OTA update to change Dream Drive behavior.
Not a software guy either, but I have noticed change.
I drive a section of highway and ONE particular EXIT roadsign with yellow "Exit Only" underneath would 100% of the time momentarily stop acceleration, and brake, for just a split second, then resume original speed. Travel this route 6 to 10 times a week for years. Happened every time. Maybe weird angle of sign?

Since update the braking has not happened once. Maybe an adjustment in the "view" of Lidar or Radar??
Just a real observation.

They gotta fix this pilot panel situation though, how the hell did this pass QA? And when you turn the screen “off”, it’s not off anymore. Did nobody at Luvid even drive around the block with the pilot panel up and to realize it just comes out whenever it wants to now?!? Come on.
