Gravity Bugs / Issues

He says that there his only one phone charger

He says there is only 1 phone charger, where there are 2. He points to the Key Card RFID reader. Video starts at 1 phone charger comment:
Wait, are there two chargers? I thought there was only one there

Air has one, Gravity has two. Even the delivery advisors don’t seem to know as I had to correct them and say it’s a dual charger 😂

Same here on my DE with all sorts of key/fob issues but seems to be getting a little better with the latest update. However, still not reliable and I hope the phone key is in the works...that has been bulletproof on my Teslas.

Two issues I wonder if others have had:

1. Microphone volume very low. I am unable to use the in-car microphone as the other party says the volume is very, very low. As a result, I use my AirPods 100% of the time for in-car calls. The local Lucid tech has ordered replacement microphones, and we will see if that fixes the issue. I was able to demonstrate by calling the tech from inside the car while switching between the car microphones and my AirPods - the difference was notable. Anyone having a similar issue...maybe something to do with a SW setting for gain?

2. Creature comfort hangs. I have found that about 30% of the time, when I return to the car after enabling creature comfort for my dog, the screen refuses to go out of the creature comfort mode, and no buttons anywhere work. I have tried to reboot several times, and each time it returns to the creature comfort screen and is unresponsive. At this point, the car seems bricked. What has cleared the issue is simply opening the driver's door after I have been in the car and tried multiple reboots. It looks like the door being opened from the inside exits a hung creature comfort state. This is clearly a SW issue and should be addressed.

The car is absolutely fantastic to drive, and the DE with the large tires still has a great range compared to my Teslas. Love it. Just if some of the SW issues would stabilize and be addressed....
Can you take a video next time? I haven't seen this but want to understand what's happening.

I have the same with creature comfort since 3.3.8. It doesn’t turn off when I get back into the car but when I open the drivers door from the inside it all goes back to normal.

So weird.

the Gravity is one of the most responsive and widest soundstages in any vehicle. Moreover, it is extremely consistent and can be very flat if you want it to be. But it absolutely highlights the crappiness of a crappy source; you will hear the compression.
Gravity SS Pro system and Tidal lossless with Dolby Atmos are all new to me, so I'm trying to understand why I'm experiencing a sound rollercoaster. I specifically picked one of Atmos playlists (one of decades collections) where all songs are coded in Atmos, but they are collected from various albums and artists. Some songs sound amazing - depth, clarity, range, bass that hurts my eardrums, while others sound flat and muffled, like I have earplugs in. Why such range of experiences? Is it from the way it was mixed and released by the studio, or the way Tidal is handling it? I assume it's not related to Gravity's SS Pro system, but maybe it is?

It is! Was wondering why they had two shallow coin holders!

Speaking from experience with my home theater ("proper" Atmos, if you will), I have found significant variation in the quality of Atmos releases.

Of all the songs that are out there, there are a subset of songs and recordings that I actually enjoy, and of these, even fewer that I feel meaningfully benefit from Atmos.

There's definitely a novelty to hearing all of the overt localization and panning in Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album is pretty solid overall but I find some random instances of overwheming bass in my setup. I really enjoy the fullness of the trumpet and voicing in Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

Atmos is a new style for music; it was originally meant for cinema, and mixing engineers are still figuring out what sounds amazing and what doesn’t.

But even stereo tracks sound amazing in the car as long as they’re in high quality.

Someone said the two audio systems are the same unless it’s an Atmos track. Has anyone figured out if that’s true?

They have different speaker setups. The basic Surreal Sound has 10 speakers and Surreal Sound Pro has 22 speakers.

That doesn't sound like they'd sound the same at all. I've not heard the basic 10 speaker set up yet

I have the same nav issue (top display nav gets stuck). SC Natick was adamant that I was imagining this. lol. Starts 11:05.

You 100% sure no one has the app on another device triggering this? It’s strange because in the 3+ years of owning Lucid’s, I’ve never had it auto install an update.

Contact Lucid and see if have a way of seeing what device triggered the update, whether it be from a mobile device or in the car itself. They may not go that granular with logging but worth a shot.
Unless someone has hacked my Lucid account which seems unlikely. My wife and I were sitting next to each other on the couch taking and neither of our kids have devices. Good idea. There should be a log somewhere of who/what device approved the install. I’ve already reached out to the KoP studio and will keep this group posted.

First off, not sure why Lucid gave this guy a Gravity and invited him to review. All of his posts on his YouTube site are reviews of Tesla FSD. So predictably at the end of review he states that Gravity would be a no go for him as it does not have FSD.

But the rest of the review was typical state of Gravity at this time review - Great fun to drive but software and fob suck.

It's a much better camera than what was on my air and comparable to my Volvo. As good as the rivian and Cadillac that we looked at. I wouldn't necessarily consider this a bug but could see why it might impact someone's decision if they had poor eyesight or mobility issues. You might consider a vehicle with better overall visibility.
I have had an Air for 3 years and just got a Gravity. In my opinion, Gravity back up camera image quality noticeably worse than Air, especially in low light. I wonder if the vastly different experiences subject a software issue.

Backup camera on my 2024 Range Rover is significantly better than my Gravity and marginally better than my Air.
