who is them and who is they in this statement. Arent you in CA? Didnt you purchase in CA?
 
I finally grabbed an orphan. Switched from Green to Black which I'm fine with. I hope I don't regret the Mojave Premium over Tahoe...but other than that, fully loaded 5 seater on the way from Florida to Roswell...then to NC. FYI-I had to pay the $1k transport fee since it was already delivered in FL.

Now the hopes and prayers begin that I get "a good one." LOL.

Once again, an SA that doesn’t know A— from a hole in the ground. The A/S in the Michelin Primacy Tour A/S stands for “All Season”. They are rated for Snow/Mud but not ideally suited if headed to the mountains in heavy snow. This is the same rating as the Hankooks on the small wheels. According to reviews, they should be a better all around tire than the Hankooks with the exception that the Hankooks on smaller wheels will give you a little more range.

Never mind. On the configurator, it says that 21/22 wheels are equipped with all season tires, so the SA was wrong.

You’re correct. The only OEM-equipped summer tires are 22/23. The rest are all season.

I would take back this comment. Winter driving doesn’t always mean driving in snow. No need to degrade SA’s like that. You seem to be a very pissed off person.

If you are so worried about quality, why buy spend 100k on the Gravity? Doesn’t make sense at all. Imagine you got a dumpster fire after spending all that money. I’m confused!

That’s not what the comment said. The SA, according to the OP, said that both of the smaller sets of wheels ship on summer tires. If what was said, that would be incorrect and misleading.

Also, when people discuss winter driving, they mean snow. Otherwise they simply say rain, which happens in every season, not just winter.

Please avoid useless commentary like this. It is absolutely acceptable to be worried about build quality; it’s an early vehicle, and we’ve seen a few here that have had some issues. Plenty that haven’t had issues, too.

Being concerned about build quality is completely reasonable at this stage. I suspect it will be fine, but to worry is not absurd, and unrelated to how much the car costs.

There is a fully loaded AG matching your specs with the exception of the larger wheels ready for delivery in Torrance, not sure if would want to jump on that

Thanks for the comments of support. The dumpster fire comment was meant as a bit of levity and somewhat directed with sympathy at hmp10. Should have inserted a🤣 The point I was trying to make was that I was in somewhat of a left brain/right brain argument with myself. My passionate self says “Get me the car ASAP!!” The logical brain says “Be patient, better chance of getting a car that has had most of the early bugs corrected.”
 
Another loaded green GGT with Tech but no tow pack just popped up. Almost jumped on it but no tow pack and having to pay additional $2000 delivery prevented me from pulling trigger.

So someone explain the logic in this. I somewhat understand Lucid charging an additional delivery fee (beyond the already included “Destination Charge” if a car is say located in Chicago and cost is for additional shipping to Houston (in my case). But if a car has no location listed in the online listing, I would assume that it is sitting at factory. So why the added delivery fee. Sounds a little like price gouging

Now i understand better, i was going to call shenanigans if you or the SA was saying they drove/flew to AZ AMP-1 to see/get a full list of available cars. Thanks for the clarity.

From what i understand, the no location listings are cars in transit or in factory parking lot with order (they outsource the carlift/truck drivers) to ship to location. As such they MAY view it as a "change" despite its actual physical location. My best understanding based on different facts i have been told....
