Just a point of reference for anyone getting theirs delivered from Costa Mesa Studio they’ve done around 30 gravity deliveries to date. Saw 5-6 gravities in the back area, 3 were black and 3 were green.

Man, that’s the studio I ordered my DE from recently. Hopefully I can grab an orphaned one soon.

Why would you need a pin to switch profiles? Like if someone steals your car they’re forced to use your profile and not make their own? Kind of a pointless feature, am I missing something?

??? We had to enter a PIN to set up the profiles, but we switch between them daily by simply tapping the profile icon and then the button for the profile we want. The car has never asked for the PIN to switch.

And does anyone have any idea when facial recognition will be activated for switching profiles? Or why it's still delayed?

As I said: if you use a keycard that is not linked to a profile, it will ask you for your PIN to switch from the Guest profile to any other, as it doesn’t recognize the key.

So PIN to drive is strictly a privacy feature? Makes sense.

Still not sure why Lucid doesn’t do a true valet mode. Limit speed, disable access to the frunk and trunk. AND disable profile switching.

Glad they got rid of PIN to drive. Never understood the point of that feature, as no valet wants to memorize a PIN.

I'm still wondering whether I should hold out for the HUD on Gravity. Drove a HUD on a friend's x5 BMW last week, and it was underwhelming. In contrast, the Polestar 3's was pleasant enough.

I had a MB EQS SUV with the HUD and it was only so so. My Gravity w/o the HUD provides sufficient information on just the dashboard displays makes the HUD to be redundant. Don't waste your money and delay in getting your really great car w/o the HUD much faster.

Did your EQS SUV have augmented reality HUD or the regular HUD? They’re both totally different and can be optioned in either or when building the car.

The gravity has the augmented reality HUD which the function is to be released in the near future.

It's quite an interesting story, to me at least.

Imagine your first car is a 1939 model and your latest car is a 2022 Lucid Air.

Yes, but not all Tesla stations are compatible. As of today, there is a discrepancy between the in-car list and the list in the app. The app lists compatible stations properly, not the car. I learned the hard way.

Find another source. That site is banned because it posts trash regularly, and deciphering what is and isn’t false is a fool’s errand.

If this were accurate, there would very quickly be other sources reporting it. Pick any reputable source.

FWIW, we know for a fact it’s false, as there have been Gravity deliveries in this forum during that time period.

My GGT just left Arizona factory to Seattle yesterday. It is AG with everything except tech package with 22/23 wheels and tow package. Hope I will be receiving next week.

Nice! What’s your order timeline? I ordered /chose an existing inventory car two weeks ago. Similar config except with 21/22 wheels and has tow. I m in Seattle as well. So far the dashboard just says” in production “ and shows a VIN. My SA has not been very communicative.

Where do you see the VIN on the page? My SA gave me my VIN, and it shows in production (I believe it’s already done) but I haven’t seen where on the order page the VIN is.
