Air Dream Deliveries?

I tend to like grays that tend toward the brown rather than toward the blue, and the Quantum Gray seemed, at least under artificial lighting, to be a bit more brown biased. I really liked it and think it works with the widest array of interior colors.

Those are the two colors that are not available on the Dream Edition.

I've seen the Quantum Gray at the Miami Design studio. It's a beautiful color and would have been my choice had it been available.
I saw the Cosmos Silver and that was gorgeous too. I don’t think there’s a bad color in any of the trims.

It is a personal decision, and each his own, but the Eureka Gold doesn't do anything for me. Of course, I have not seen it in person, so it may look different than the pictures. Not sure the silver colored aluminum rails go with the gold color.

I got an eMail today with my VIN and asking for my Driver's License and Front License Plate Preference. No mention of production or when the car would be available, but I take it from other people's experiences we are talking about still 2 weeks away. I answered the eMail and asked about the state of the software, since the car is currently shipping with many features disabled (e.g. ADAS, CarPlay).

I've attached a detailed VIN decoder output. Not that it provides much more information, but it's interesting about the safety features that are present. The car is an Air Dream Edition R - Gold colored.

Congratulations, Alex. I'm also hearing about two weeks from VIN to delivery. However, my friend's Dream was available for delivery in Orlando 8 days after he got his VIN, but that was all the across the country. You're almost under their nose.

I got my VIN last Friday, November 19, but have heard nothing since.

It seems that the serial numbers of the cars (the last 6 digits in the VIN) don't encode production sequence. Dream #026 is advertised for sale by a dealer in Nebraska, and that car's serial number doesn't show "26" anywhere.

Yes, I was wondering about the Dream Sequence number vs. the VIN number. I hear they have some preproduction Dreams on display. I don't know my sequence number, but the VIN is in the 2000 range.

I want to hear about the test drive. It is interesting that they have Dreams instead of GTs for test drives. I was told two weeks ago in Scottsdale that they would have a test drive car in two weeks. I have not heard anything more since then.

It was a really well done experience.

we had one of their experts in the car with us, and he knew the vehicle really well. He had a preplanned route that got us highway driving and super curvy mountain/hill driving.

the car was perfectly cleaned, looked like they may have cleaned it between drives.

was a gold dream with 21” wheels. It was a really really smooth drive the whole way. It talked us into swapping our dream for 21” from the 19” we had configured it with.

it was also the longest test drive we have ever done, about 40 minutes total for both my husband and myself.

How exciting! Congrats!

This is excellent. I look forward to a test drive also.

West Palm Beach told me in October they would have a car to drive in November. Last week when I was there again they said December, definitely. She also says Homelink has geo location ability. I didn’t get the sense she actually knew the answer to the question. Been there 4 times. Very pleasant without much information. She did say I should expect a call in ”near future” to confirm order. I’m not holding my breath. GT order 4/21.

Homelink being geolocated is true. Everytime I pull into my driveway it comes up on which gate to open.

How many HomeLink settings are possible? The HomeLink modules usually only come with 3 settings, but was hoping that Lucid put more in the car. Also, do you know if it has the 2-way HomeLink capability? The 2-way function is available on newer door openers (e.g. Liftmaster). I know the new Lexus vehicles will tell you the status of your garage door.
