Since 2.5.0, app will not wake up car?

Hang on, there’s some confusing things here: do you have mobile key set up? That uses Bluetooth when you’re nearby and does not require any kind of cell signal or WiFi signal at all.

It is only remote app wake-up that requires cell signal in the car.
No, I don't use Mobile Key. Only app and fob.
Have never used Mobile Key, dating back to the beginning when the passive Unlock feature didn't exist.

Passive unlock and lock have always existed. The only change is the ability to turn passive lock and unlock off.

If you do not set up Mobile Key, then you are reliant on cell service, which is spotty by definition. That is why it only works 60% of the time, and carrying the fob or card is a necessity.

Set up mobile key, or use the fob.

Using the app via the cloud as your means of unlock is a sure recipe for anger.

Ok, I'll turn that on. Thanks.

2025 Air Pure 2 months old. 600 miles.

I went into my garage today and pushed door handle to open car - Nothing! 100% dead. I was in a rush so had to borrow wife's Lexus.
Upon digging, I found my non-working key fob CR2032 battery was at 2.7 V and the other working keyfob was at 3.0 V. I replaced both (new batteries measure 3.3V) and learned how to use the credit card method as a backup.
The Lexus keyfob batteries last about 18 months. The same batteries in Lucid keyfob last 2 months! That is not good!

Some folks have found that if you are also using mobile key on your phone, it can cause a key fob batteries to somehow last a shorter time. If you were are planning on using mobile key, turn it off. Secondly, you can use the key fob, even if dead, to open the door. You do not need the key card.

Reviving this thread since I did not want to start a new one. Please let me know if there's a better thread I should take this issue to.

Problem:
When car is connected to home wifi, the mobile app remote wake of the car fails most of the time. This is especially annoying since I use it for climate control to cool/warm the car in advance. Disabling/disconnecting from the wifi from the car immediately solves the issue. Easily replicable. It's clear remote mobile app wake/connect to the car fails when car is connected on wifi. This issue seems to have started with v2.5 car software and still issue for me as of 2.6.2 release. I'm using latest Android app, so also wondering if any iOS app users experiencing the same.

Is this a common issue that Lucid is aware of and fix is being worked on? It's not clear if it's a software issue that can be fixed, but it seems unlikely it's hardware. My best guess is that wifi in the car goes to sleep mode to reduce battery drain but cell network doesn't fail over in this case for some reason and the car is now disconnected all together.
I'd prefer to connect car to the wifi but have disabled it for now due to the remote wake fail issue from the mobile app. Anyone knows about a fix or whether Lucid is working on one?

I have the same issue with iOS. I just gave up and stopped connecting to the WiFi at home.

Fwiw, and I know you'll hate me saying this, but... mine is always on WiFi and wakeup works fine. But I also have good cellular service where I live, if that matters.

I wonder if you folks have some kinda of custom DNS servers set up or anything? Or perhaps a common ISP?

Or maybe I'm just lucky; or, and this is entirely possible, I'm wrong and my memory is failing.

I have vanilla Google Fiber.

Plain old FiOS.
