Days Since The Last Major Feature Release... Yikes!

No idea what that's about. I guess anything is a platform for AI growth if you put on your VC goggles and squint. Lucid has an "AI" voice assistant, drive assist tech... the same things other auto makers have in the "AI" ballpark. I'm not aware of any differences between Air trims in that regard.
It's a tall stretch to call Lucid Assistant "AI". Artificial? Yes, Intelligent? Hell no! 😂

Man I hope we get a nice set of new features soon. I know some of the long timers (I've had my Air for a year), will go on about how we got what we paid for and we shouldn't expect more updates, but I look across at my fellow Rivian drivers and wish we were getting the same update cadence. I'm sure it's related to Gravity, given the updates have really slowed down in the last few months (other than bug fixes)

More are scheduled to come but it's probably safe to say the priority is Gravity at the moment. Can only assume resources are stretched pretty thin at the moment with cars starting to deliver in a few weeks.

Agreed, My mom got an R1S at the same time as I picked up my Air, she has had 3 updates with pretty nice additions and fixes, and we have had 0...

Gravity has a ton of new features. If you were Lucid, would you concentrate on making your previous breath of Air better, or your next one?

True I guess I would abandon all my customers that don't want a SUV and helped get the company to where we are today.

I'm sure they are doing their best with the resources they have, but I do wish their software group was larger. Midisize software development must be well underway by now too.

I expect in Q2 they will release a big update for the Air that will port back stuff from Gravity, especially since it needs some route planning for Tesla access. Hopefully the charging AMP control comes to Air as well.

Yes we are due for a major update. 3.0 is coming!!

I think that's the key.

My guess is September for the next serious feature update.

I thought I’d read somewhere that there were two different software teams, Air & Gravity, but I could be wrong. Either way I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel a little like the forgotten stepchild.

Probably are but that's not to say Gravity has 80% developer resources to Airs 20% etc. I just have the impression that Lucid doesn't have a huge software development team compared to the likes of Tesla, Rivian etc. They've never been able to pump updates out as fast as those 2 companies. If Lucid's team is small then the majority is definitely going to be allocated to Gravity over the Air.

Yup, they’ve definitely abandoned all their customers. Also, the sky is falling.

It has randomly intruded annoyingly and embarrassingly, responding to a passenger's voice. I must turn it off.

I turned it off months ago. It’s useless in its current state. Not sure how much Lucid paid SoundHound in licensing but I’d be asking for my money back!
