2025 Lucid Air Ranks #1 Best Luxury Electric Cars by Car and Driver

Did you notice that the article says... "All Lucid models come standard with three years of complimentary charging via the Electrify America charging network."?

Following this thread as I am awaiting for my Pure pick up soon. Debating if I should hold off in home install as there is EA station very close to my home

Don't hold off on installing a home Charger IEVSE). It is much more convenient to charge at home than to go to a nearby public charger. The Home charger is always there and ready to hook up. You will enjoy your new Air Pure more if you have home charging.

The only thing I would add to @Adnillien's excellent advice is to bear in mind the (hopefully) eventual availability of V2H (vehicle to home) capabilities. Even if you plan to home charge at a fairly low rate, it may pay off in the long run to install wiring that will be capable of handling V2H's more robust requirements.

Yeah, feels good seeing the positive news especially as a brand new owner … further validates the decision… but not nearly as much as driving it.

if you need this sort of affirmation of your choice to buy a Lucid then this is great. I don't need acclaim from media or celebrities to affirm my choices. I also drive an Ipace which is almost universally on every bad list out there, I don't care! I think it is a fantastic car. YMMV

I guess they have one of the cars that doesn't make you wait up to a minute in the cold for the doors to open. Wish we had one of those cars, too.

Charging from home gives you the flexibility to choose time-of-day when electricity rates are cheaper (usually from mid-night until 6 am), your car will always be charged when you start your day, and you'll never have to wait until an EA dispenser unit is available.
And, when vehicle-to-home charging is available, it helps when power cutoffs occur in your area (in Southern California rural areas, this has been an issue in the last few months due to fire danger)

Thank you everyone! The owner forum so far has been so helpful. Will brace myself up to give back helpful advice too in the future!
