Does anyone know all reasons for HA/Adaptive cruise to not engage? The only one I'm specifically aware is speeds above 80, and I believe it's only the HA that won't engage then.

Trying to figure out why it HA and addictive were greyed out today even though I was on a normal part of the LIE. I have low pressure in one tire (45 psi). Is that one reason for it not to engage?

(I just tried a two button reset since I already air reset twice this week, will report back soon if that worked)

After reset, HA engaged just fine on the ride home. Go figure 🤷‍♂️

Resets fix so many things. I always try them first before texting service.

Yes. Just surprising because I had just done one the day before to try to fix my seat homing issue.

We have a Pure and Touring. After the 2.5.0 update we both noticed (what seems random) HA nor Adaptive Cruise will engage. When pressing the Left Wheel Button the car makes a "bonk" sound. After a reboot it seems to work fine again.

Highway Assist and Adaptive Cruise both stopped working for me in the middle of an 800 mile drive. I took it in to the shop and they could find nothing wrong with it.

They both went out again on my drive home from the shop.

I took it in again and was told that sun and rain can prevent them from working because it "blinds" the camera(s). Basically, it's "working as intended".

So $90,000 for a car that doesn't work in the sun or rain. 😦

The next time HA goes out, try turning on a blinker and see if your blind spot cams come on. If they don’t, turn off curb rash assist, reboot the car, and you should be fine.

Any amount of road debris that is on the cameras will also disable. I have to wipe down mine if I drive in bad weather, stuff sticks to the lenses.

I have similar issue i am trying to post in my thread. When you engage HA and drive over HA supported speed at-least once, it turns off HA until you let the car sleep for good couple of hours. I think this is some kind of strike that goes after car goes to sleep. Reset or hard restart dont help, car has to go to sleep for couple of hours.

Sri -do you know what the speed limit is above which HA turns off and then won't restart after letting the car sleep?

Borski - why does turning off curb rash assist address the issue of HA going out?

thanks

HA will work up to 90MPH and if you go over 90MPH it will disable HA. This is what i observed.

My curb rash assist has been off since day 2 of the release. The newish problem that I'm having is not being able to turn on HA/AC at times, maybe 15% of the time. It just bongs and that's it. Definitely not life threatening but the annoyance ranges from minimum, if I'm on a 10 min drive, to maximum if I'm on a 300 mile drive.

Oh, and as bonus, the auto-lane change never worked to begin with. Good thing I wouldn't have used it anyway.

I had a similar experience. Even when I’m driving over 100 and then come down to the 80s, the HA or cruise control don’t engage.

I don't think it has anything to do with speed. I had this problem at anywhere between 60 to 80 mph. It might be the speed and direction of the wind that throws it off ...
