How did that happen? There are many of us who reserved (with similar or identical config as yours) after that and were confirmed by Jan-5th. Did your reservation fall in between the seat cushions at Lucid?
I called about not getting notified the 1st of Feb and was told that I should here something soon! Yeah right!
 
confirmed my order. now the real wait begins.

I did notice that their order confirmation date shows tomorrow's date 3/2/22. has anyone noticed this? I don't think it matters but just wanted to make sure.
 
I put a deposit on a GT on 2/14. I’m on the waitlist for the Dream. Is hoping I get upgraded a pipe dream?

Definite pipe dream. I was on the list in November, not very likely as most are spoken for. Some people may back out but I imagine the list is long for an upgrade.
 
So, was able to confirm that Orlando Bloom got the first customer GT. Also the BH service center will be deliver around 10 GTs over the next week or so...
 
For those near DC, Tyson’s finally got their test drive vehicle on Monday. Black GT 19” wheels.
 
Update here - my Zenith Red GT has offically left AZ on way to Chicago for prepping. Invited to pay today. Still no official ETA - but have to think I'll get it in 1 to 2 weeks here in CT. Will keep you all posted- but again - very encouraging.
 
So are we still waiting for the first confirmed GT delivery on this forum? Was there an update on FB from the person who said they were picking up their Red GT last Sunday? There's at least a black GT undergoing inspection at Millbrae right now, possibly others.

I talked with my DA a few hours ago and he is the DA for two GTs that are ready for pickup, one in Millbrae and mine in Scottsdale. That said, Scottsdale still has not giving me a pickup time. Yesterday I was promised that he manager of the Scottsdale service center would call this morning to schedule a pickup time, that call never happened. I pinged my DA a couple of times today and was told that I would hear from Scottsdale today. I would be OK with a pickup date a few days out, but I am getting annoyed by promises that are not kept.

I checked back on that supposed Sunday deliver post on Facebook. It was posted 5 days ago. At the time they said they would update soon. No follow-up by them. I looked at their profile and it wasn't super active so I'm afraid it may have been a troll, sorry.

It seems more and more likely the Santa Cruz/Monica interior is part of the problem.

I don’t think “met delivery window” will be a useful metric if the delivery window is defined as 4 months. It’s pretty apparent the delivery window will be longer. More interesting will be tracking VIN notification and delivery dates so we get an idea of how long after VIN notification to expect the car.

By the way, thanks for all you do for the forum. I really appreciate your engagement and improvements to the forum.

Agreed here too. End of my 4mo window is mid-April but I doubt it’ll be hit at this point as it would mean VIN# in the next week most likely.

And absolutely many props to @mnewber1 and others who are trying to collect data, along with the community here. This forum has been great.
 
My four month window comes up in about two weeks, so I asked my DA for a new estimate along with a question about potential delivery fee to my home since I live over 600 miles from the closest Sales/Service Center. Well, he verified there was no fee, but made absolutely no comment as to what my revised expectations might be. I am getting very frustrated with the lack of any guidance whatsoever. Is it going to be another month (unlikely since I do not have a VIN), two months, three, six. He told me on the phone a couple weeks ago that he hoped I would be getting a VIN in the next couple weeks, but that did not happen. I ordered 1/2021 and confirmed 11/17/21. Avoiding my question is much worse than addressing it with bad news.
 
I feel for all you GT guys, but consider this, I had my reservation down in Sept, 2018 and only got my car November, 2021!

But yea Lucid should try and give a better timeline, but I'm not sure if they can given their issues with the fit and finish and not even having dreams complete because of the problem.
 
It also doesn't help that the DAs are kept in the dark regarding the manufacturing process. My DA has repeatedly said he's unaware of any color batching or other manufacturing plans. So they're doing the best they can with the limited information they're given. After all, my VIN has been coming any day for about a month.
