Well, only speculation, but since it's the companies who are announcing it, my guess is they were waiting to see how successful Lucid was before including them in a press release.

There were earlier announcements regarding Rohm and BorgWarner supplying SiC chips. Could be diversification of suppliers or dissatisfaction with existing suppliers.
