I have been skiing all week and we are getting 3-4 inches of snow daily. I don't use the car since I walk to the lifts and ski home. The car is parked outside plugged into a level 1 (15a 120V) outlet.

After 2 days I needed to drive to the grocery store. When I went to the car the passenger side rear window was open a crack and the rear seat and door card were covered in snow. I thought maybe (I doubt it but its possible) that when unloading the car I pressed the window switch. I cleaned it up did my shopping and returned. Today (2 days later) the same window was again open this time 1/2 way. This time I'm sure I did not press the window switch and there is even more snow in the car.

Any ideas?
 
Not sure if you're there with friends, but is it possible someone else is doing it? That sounds like a prank that would happen on one our golf trips.

Do you have the rear shades? If so, I would try putting those up to see if it prevents the window from going down (if it's not intentionally being done).
 
No one had access. I have it set up not to open unless I press the door handles. The car was on a level 1 charger which I disconnected after unlocking the car and then retrieving the snow brush. The window had obviously been open all night based on the amount of snow inside.
 
I have had this as well with the passenger rear window on 2.8.17. No rhyme or reason to it.
 
Early on with my 2022 AGT, I had this issue. It was operator error for me. The window switches are set pretty far forward on the door armrest and I thought I was hitting the front but was actually the back window. Even this summer, I occasionally caused the back window shades to move up or down accidentally. I am 6 '3" so long arms but I had to teach myself to feel the correct button. Can't say it's your problem but it seems the same.

Telemark, nice! Wish we were getting snow here in Lake Tahoe, basically nothing so far this year. Fingers crossed that Friday is bringing snow.

First time I went West to ski went to Heavenly. Got there at 8 am on Saturday ... parking lot was empty? Didn't know Western skiers slept late. Rode up Gunstock = it was steep and flat ??? Locals on quad were commenting on "ice" ??? it was 20 feet of packed powder. Long ride up; thought I was at top then entire mountain rose above me !!! Saw the most beautiful women wearing painted-on "snow pants". Snow was awesome = unlike anything East. At end of day long line to lift going DOWN ? What a bunch of losers ... West Coast (pardon the expression) "skiers". Gunstock had Volkswagen-sized moguls. Line down was ridiculous, and slope was guarded by ski patrol ???? I ducked the rope and went anyway...under the chair. Made about 3 turns (was at sea level yesterday...not ready for the thin air) and yard saled. Got much applause from people on chair. Humiliated, gathered gear the next 500 feet down amongst the moguls. Loved it! The women skiers in Tahoe ... to die for.

Still, there is nothing like East Coast skiing. If you grew-up on boiler plate ... granite ledges ... tree stumps ... bare ground, in the eyeball- freezing cold;
you kinda miss it.

Oh, forgot where I was. So, how about those windows ?
 
No ice, soft moguls, fresh snow most of the day, no crowds. Only downside was I did not trust the woods, not quite deep enough.
 
Any updates on the phantom window opening issue? Did it magically go away, or was there a software/hardware fix?

I have the same issue on a Gravity GT (2nd row window). I'm watching it closely to see if it's user error (has happened multiple times). Thanks j4gates, for the rear shade tip. I'll give it a try. I'm also enabling the child window lock to see if there's a pattern.
